Or Leopard to you and I. On a our recent trip to Tanzania we managed to see 5 different Leopards.

The first 3 shots are sightings in the Serengeti and the last one is in Tarangire. It was amazing to see the sleepy leopard in a giant and iconic baobab tree!

With the high season coming to an end, now is a great time to be on safari as game is plentiful and there are fewer vehicles at sitings. So sometimes you have the animals all to yourself!

Our Maasai guide looks into the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania.

The Crater is a vast caldera, formed when a volcano the size of Mount Kilimanjaro erupted and then collapsed on itself over 2.5 million years ago. Today, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unfilled, intact, and inactive volcano in the whole world.

Hints:
1️⃣ They are strong fliers and can fly at elevations of 600 – 2400 meters (1,968 – 14,760 feet).
2️⃣ They are monogamous and pair for life.
3️⃣ They have a life span of around 16 years. However, the oldest recorded bird of the species, living in the wild, was 60 years.

There are 3 species of elephant; African Savannah, African Forest and Asian.

Savannah elephants are also the largest of the species. You can also tell them apart by their ears - Savannah elephants have large ears shaped like the African continent.
