This morning, we had the pleasure of hosting the Rotary Club of Nairobi Susan Murabana Owen the esteemed President of the Rotary Club of Nairobi! We are proud to donate a flight to support their upcoming golf tournament at Sigona Golf Club to raise funds for Bondeni Primary School's sanitation block. Safe and hygienic bathrooms in schools positively impact children's physical and cognitive growth by reducing illness and embarrassment-related absenteeism. Bondeni Primary School, a government-owned institution serving 3,700 students from the Kayole slums, urgently needs these facilities. The Rotary Club of Nairobi's Charity Golf Tournament aims to raise funds to build these essential sanitation bathrooms, preventing the spread of infectious diseases, promoting healthy lives, and ensuring better learning outcomes for the children.

We're excited to embark on this new adventure together, soaring to new heights and sinking putts! Who says airlines and golf clubs don't mix? Stay tuned as we prepare for a "turbulence-free" tournament. Let’s fly high and aim low (on the golf course, that is)!

🦏✈️ Safarilink Soars with Lewa: Protecting Rhinos Together!

We are excited to share an inspiring update on Safiya, the rhino we proudly adopted through our partnership with Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. Our collaboration supports Lewa's crucial work to protect Kenya's rhino population, constituting 12% of the nation's total.

Safiya is thriving! She was recently selected for a significant rhino translocation initiative led by Lewa and the Kenya Wildlife Service. Safiya and eleven other black rhinos were relocated from Lewa to Loisaba Conservancy in February. This initiative aims to restore the species to the landscape after a 50-year absence, with hopes for calves to be born within 24 months and the population to reach 30 within the next decade. 🦏

Known for her friendly nature and strong bond with her companion Nasieku, Safiya plays a crucial role in the recovery of the species. Our support has made this possible, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this vital cause.

In addition to our conservation efforts, we proudly announce that our team will participate in this year's Lewa Marathon! This event is a test of endurance and a celebration of our collective efforts toward wildlife conservation and community development. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
