So, we've been winning 💃💃🕺🕺🕺! Last week, our film #midnightvan won Best Short Fiction in the 3rd edition of Under Our Skin Kenya Film Festival. MIDNIGHT VAN was a village effort. It took so much from so many people however, you reap what you sow and if this is anything to go by, we have started reaping big 😎. Hiyo speech ni ya siku ingine 😅.
Spending a million hours in edit honestly takes all the fun out of the work, mimi, I don't know how editors do it. So until these screenings at @unseen.nairobi , I had forgotten how beautiful and impactful #midnightvan is. I met @nataliapopiyakova , a journalist from Russia who went on about how much it spoke to her because she's constantly seeing journalists take sides during the election period and in turn it upsets a whole system. @nickndeda surely wrote a tragically beautiful story that cuts across the board. We look forward to sharing #midnightvan and curating engaging conversations that reshape our voting perspectives.
