Then I decided to check youtube to see if anything could be done other than taking it in. That's when I found WIC. This process was so easy, I cancelled my order for a new printer and fixed this on in less than an hour. I ordered new pads and entered the code to reset. Purchased Wicrest Key and Inkpad from Printerpotty. At First i was not able to do the Reset. Software was not working when i click Test connection or Read waste counter. .Installed all Printer drivers of Win 11. Version i installed WIC reset Utility V.5.90 (Nov.20.2023) .I have disabled some of monitors which was recommended by wicrest tool .it did not worked. same problem when i click on read counter progam is not working. .i removed USB cable from my laptop and again connected. The reading counter shows the counter reading and i have reseted the Waste counter. Thank you so much...!

WIC RESET KEY for the WIC Reset Uility - One Key for One Reset I downloaded Epson's maintenance utility and couldn't get it to work. Found the WIC Reset Utility and it worked like a charm! Will buy the full reset key when I get my kit.

Q.: I have purchased 2 Reset Keys and used one of it to reset my printer. Does the second unused Reset Key have an expiration date? I will have to keep it stored and use it in the future when this happens again.
A.:The RESET KEY has NO expiration date! The only limit is - it can be used one time only. But You can store it as long as you want.
Q.: Can the Reset Key for the "Waste Ink Reset Utility for Epson Printers" be used more than once, or do I need to buy a new key each time I need to reset my waste ink counter?
A.:The RESET KEY is one time use. Each time you need to reset the waste ink counter you need new RESET KEY. You can buy up to 25 KEYs and save $150!
Q.: Can I reset the ink cartriges by WIC Reset Utility?
A.: No. You cant reset ink cartriges by WIC Reset Utility. You have to by CISS or Auto-Reset Chips or reset cartriges by Chip Resetter. We dont provide this products.

Q.: If I buy the reset key for the Epson Artisan model will the software only work on one computer? Thank you.
A.: The WIC Reset Utility can work on anyl PC under Windows with no limits.

Q.: Does WIC Reset Utility Works under MAC OS?
A.: Yes! Since April 2011 we have started iWIC - Mac OS compatible utility. You can use it on your Apple computers. If you have computer with MAC OS 10.7 Intel or higher - it is ok. If you have older Power PC - the iWIC may not work correct.

Q.: If I buy 5 RESET KEYs I can use them for different printer models?
A.: Sure! You can use for any printers in support list above.

Q.: Can I use the WIC software after formatting my PC or on other PC?
A.: Sure! You can use WIC Reset Utility on any PC with Windows installed. No limits to PC configuration or configuration changes.

Q.: Is there a Demo or Trial Key?
A.: Yes. There is Free Trial Reset Key for Epson printers. Input TRIAL in WIC utility and it will reset printers waste ink counters to 80% - so You can continue working. When it will overflow again - You have to buy and use Rugular Reset Key and it will reset counters to 0% now.

Oh my golly, I didn't think that would work, but it fixed it in about 30 seconds. Even though I hadn't been able to disable the process monitor thing that it says do first, the reset program still worked instantly when I ran it on an Epson XP-540. I got the flashing lights and "Service required" message on my Epson R2400, as many others have before! I spent hours online and eventually managed to download Epsons' own Adjustment Program. It showed me the waste ink settings but would not let me reset the counter, although I had disconnected the feed tubes and re-routed them to an external bottle.
Today I found 2Manuals.com and downloaded their WIC reset program. I thought "It probably won't work but one key is only $9.99 so what the heck!"
Well that was the best $9.99 I've ever spent! As soon as I entered the key and hit "reset" the printer whirred into action, ink pumped into my waste bottle and I'm back in action!
This has saved me a lot of money and the hassle of sending the printer to an Epson service centre. Truly a 5***** product!

My printer stopped printing with the error as "General Error". Epson quoted me $60 to send an engineer to fix my printer.
After reading through the information on this site I decided to fix it myself. Found the problem was related to the waste ink pad counter.
Only 10 minutes, I had the the printer working! The printer tested fine and has done approx 150 pages since with NO issues.

All I can say is THANK YOU!! Thank you for allowing me to roll back (downgrade) my Epson XP-410 printer\'s firmware with ease!! A couple of clicks, and I was downgraded. This allowed me to use non-oem cartridges that would not work no matter what I tried with current firmware (Epson updated firmware just to battle the use of non-oem cartridges). The money spent will be saved with the very first refill of these refillable cartridges I bought. I was skeptical, but it really was THAT easy! Winning the battle against Epson!! First time I\'ve ever paid for a \"hack\", well worth it!

Hi john: I wouldlike to let you know that i bought another reset key from yoy site and it worked with onother workforce 840 I owned. i think the problem with the other printer workforce 840 was that I used the reset key epson has in their website some times and probably it bloked the printer. Just for you to know and to let you know this time worked with another 840 I own Thank you for your understanding and for refunding the money when did not work. My Epson R2880 stopped printing and showed alternating ink and paper flashing lights. I had an extended warranty that I purchased with the printer but because I didn\'t register the warranty within 30 days I was told by Mack Camera that they would not honor the warranty. So after much research and web surfing I found myself at 2manuals. I wasn\'t even sure that the wic was the problem and I had serious doubts about spending more money on what could just be another scam like the extended warranty was. However like one reviewer said, what was $9.99. Well I downloaded the program, obtained the $9.99 pin code, loaded the software, and exactly as the video shows I was up and running. I couldn\'t believe it when the printer sprung to life and was ready to print. Hey, try it. You\'ll be glad you did.
