Today, KPCC Senior Accountant CPA Kenneth Mugambi took all KPCC section heads through a very insightful Variance Analysis Sensitization session as the FY 23/24 winds up. Variance analysis aids in evaluating the differences between planned (budgeted) and actual financial performance. By comparing these variances, KPCC can identify areas of overperformance or underperformance, understand the reasons behind these differences, and make informed decisions to improve future performance. Additionally, Mr. Mugambi emphasized that insights gained from the session will inform the basis of the next FY's resource allocation, ensuring greater efficiency and effectiveness, ultimately helping KPCC achieve its strategic goals for the coming financial year 24/25.
