This morning I chaired a meeting of representatives from the U.S AMBASSADOR'S OFFICE,USAID and TRANSPARENT INTERNATIONAL with the representation from the office of the GOVERNOR.

The main agenda was,USAID partnering with the county government through IDOS in enhancing service delivery.

This will be done by capacity building the county assembly with the full involvement of the budget and health committee.

Nakuru County is one of the LUCKY FIVE counties that will benefit from this initiative, whose funding will be a 5 year program and will help the county in managing it's own sources of revenue, facility improvement funds with the involvement of the public.

Team was led by,Harrigan Mukhongo deputy director office of economic growth and integration.

I strongly advocate for education and I believe in providing equal opportunities to all students regardless of their financial background.

Education is crucial for building a prosperous and equitable society. Through bursaries, we are investing in the future of our community by ensuring that every student has access to quality education and breaking down barriers that may prevent them from achieving their goals.

Today I joined our Governor *HE Susan Kihika,EGH* during the *launch of Nakuru County bursary* FY 2023/2024 amounting to 342,499,082 kenya shillings

The road tarmacking is expected to be done in 3weeks times.

Also present was Benson contractor from silver scope Ltd,Wachira Mwangi ward administrator mosop,Salgaa business community leaders among others.

The visit by the Head of State came with a lot of blessings.

While in Naivasha yesterday, the headlines read 'Ruto gave out over 700m Projects'. He literally brought Japanese car bazaars to Naivasha so that we nolonger have go to China to buy vehicles, instead, not only residents but the entire East Africa region will have an international market in Naivasha among other goodies as lobbied for by the regional leaders.

While in Nakuru same day comissioning affordable housing worth millions of money, the regional leaders lobbied the president for 100 acres from airports lands in pipeline and some more land from the dogs section for construction of over 10000 affordable housing for the residents. Kivumbini hustlers were given county houses at a fee of 3000 only and asked to stop paying rents. Njoro also benefited from the idustrial park which some ill-motive leaders were trying to stop.

While at Kuresoi the regional leaders put all their efforts and trued in vain to mobilize the community to heckle our governor in the name of proving they have their son who is the kingpin. What a failed achievement!
It is a shame and a show of cowardice, let him prove he is a real kingpin by development and leadership not organising young people to heckle other leaders.
I urge young people to steer clear from such people.

It is high time that our regional leaders gain some senses.The three Sub-Counties out of 11 have no monopoly of numbers. While other sub-Counties are deliberating about development, we are busy displaying and amplifying our ignorance at the expense of real issues.

We should be saddened by the occurrences in Kuresoi yesterday instead of celebrating as a region. Displaying our intoxicated youths who were brought to heckle is what we achieved yesterday at the expense of the great projects that our president could have given. Whatever other sober areas requested for was granted to them.

It is high time as regional leaders ask ourselves where do we want to lead our people to? And are we achieving as a region? Is goonism an achievement compared with what other leaders asked for and were granted? Think.. My people think and think again.

Water is life, and clean water means health. Because no matter who we are or where we come from, we're all entitled to the basic human rights of clean water to drink, and healthy land to call home.

CLEAN WATER CONNECTION TO EVERY HOMESTEAD IN MOSOP REMAINS MY TOP PRIORITY AS THE MCA.

Boror residents have something to smile about since our county government has fulfilled one of it's campaign promises of connecting residents of MOSOP WARD to clean water.

Today we had a public participation with boror residents to agree on how they will be getting water that was recently connected to them by Naruwasco under our county government headed by HE Susan Kihika,EGH.

25.5km piping was done at boror village and all the feeders roads were piped so that each homestead can get connection easily.

Am still focused and I believe by 2027 most of my residents will be enjoying clean water.

The sweetness of a project is when the people are using it,Sumeek maternity wing construction is completed and today the contractor handed it over to the county government

Our remaining task now is to equip it so that the residents can enjoy it's services, we thank our county government under the leadership of HE Susan Kihika, EGH for their cooperation and the contractor for doing a commendable job.

GOD HAS A REASON FOR ALLOWING THINGS TO HAPPEN, SOME OF THEM ARE PAINFUL TO US, AND ARE HARD TO BELIEVE THAT IT WAS HIS WILL AND WE MAY NEVER UNDERSTAND HIS WISDOM BUT WE HAVE TO ACCEPT AND AND TRUST IN HIS WILL.

Today we attended an harambee for the send off of EVERLYN, a resident of PHASE 9 who was among those who lost their lives in the fatal accident that occured at the EVEREADY round about that claimed multiple lives.

The event was attended by a team from OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR led by Co Gitau and Hon. Njosh, amongst others.

We want to express our sincere gratitude to our county government for standing with the families that were affected by the accident.

Today I worshipped at Siloam Worldwide Gospel Church of Kenya Ogilgei.

"I promised to support them with political seats or without"

Ever since my youthful stage have always had passion to support the youths especially those nurturing their talents through sports,I even promised them during my campaigns to support them either with the political seat or without.

Following my conscience today I delivered a promise pledge to Kampi ya moto fc. I Gave them a full set of uniform and a ball.Hon Chemu who was our host also gave out a ball and Aston equally one ball.

The team is playing on the regional levels and they have problems on raising transport expenses when going for their away matches,as one of their leaders I promise to help them where possible to see them shine and realise their dreams.

The host Hon Chemu promised to organize a Harambee for this great team.

Following an accident that occurred in the morning of 31st Dec 2023 at Everready along Nakuru_Eldoret Highway which took the lives of 7people and several injured, our county government under the leadership of HE Susan Kihika took up the matter and offset the medical bills and mortuary bills incurred on the victims

Following up the matter today I visited the affected families in my ward who lost their loved ones with a team from the office of the Governor led by Mr Martin Gicinga,Former London ward MCA Hon Njosh among others.

Today I was honored to attend the wedding of one of my closest team member interms of politics. Felix Sadat did not disappoint my belief in him as a diligent and responsible gentle man as he today treated us to a colourful ceremony as he weds the love of his life VIVIAN.

My wish and prayer is that this wedding has lead to an everlasting matrimonial relationship full of happiness and support, for as the white man says no man is an island, and two is better than one

Youths plays a major role in the country's economy, they are the one's that we need their energies for a better tomorrow.

In conjunction to that we have to empower them to ensure we ease their day to day life activities, one of the ways is by nurturing their talents even if its in a small way.

In line with that today we witnessed a humongous tournament planned and sponsored by 1st Gentlman Kiongozi Sam Mburu

We are humbled as mosopians because alot of lives was touched and changed today at Ngata primary. The presence of our Governor HE Susan Kihika,EGH showed the love they have to our youths alongside Farouk Kibet who was the chief guest of the event.

Kiongozi Sam Mburu went ahead to sponsor the building of 4 junior classrooms, 2Lab rooms and a modern dining room at Ngata primary, the school and the community will benefit with a new borehole promised by CS of water Hon Zack Njeru.

Other leaders present were ;Hon Arama Mp Nakuru West,Hon Gikaria Mp Nakuru East,Hon Irene Njoki Mp Bahati,Hon Gachobe Mp Subukia,CECMS, COs ,MCA'S among other Dignitaries.

Meeting with a delegation from Upperhill Estate in Ngata. They had 3 issues under my jurisdiction that has been bothering them

They issues were;
1. Insecurities and lighting their area thus they need Highmast lights .
2.Water issue ,about 58 households are not connected with water lines.
3.Roads,The feeder roads connecting them to their homes is not in a good state

My leadership will walk hand in hand with them to ensure that the above raised issues are looked onto and solved.

In solidarity with them today we attended an harambee in aid of medication for the father of *Cheruto Rop Chamgei Fm presenter* in Koria Village, *Chepterwoi ward Nandi County.*

Today as the Nakuru county government we were honoured to join the Governor HE Susan Kihika,EGH in hosting Faith Kipyegon,EGH WORLD'S RECORD HOLDER OF THE 1500M. One of the young HEROINES who have taken our country to greater levels as far as sports is concerned. Faith is a symbol of unity an icon of love who makes us forget our diversity and political affiliation As a county I Wish to congratulate this Heroine and thank her for putting the name of Nakuru into the histories of the world.

Other Leaders who graced the special occasion were; HE David Kones the Deputy Governor, Hon Karuri Speaker of the county assembly, CECMs,COs,MCA'S And a batery of Dignitaries.

A people-oriented and driven leader is one who prioritises developing strong interpersonal relationships with the people. To foster a culture where people feel valued, safe, appreciated, and inspired, the focus isn’t task-driving—it’s driving a positive impact in the lives of my people.

Today we had a consultative meeting with kerma residents to evaluate our progress in terms of community development.
Through the help of our Governor HE Susan Kihika, EGH we were able to secure a 100million grant from world Bank which will be used for drilling boreholes, raising elevated tanks and piping.

The project will benefit Kerma and Ngata communities.

Next financial year we will be renovating the ECDE classroom and equip it.

The joy of brightening other lives, bearing each others' burdens, easing other's loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for me the magic of Christmas.

Today with a group from simba cement sacco we visited Ngata Baby Centre and remembered them with our chrismas gifts. The home takes care of homeless children and is afilliated to AGC churches in Kenya. As we celebrate this festive season please rember to share with those who have nothing.. And God will bless you.

Games give you a chance to excel, and if you're playing in good company you don't even mind if you lose because you had the enjoyment of the company during the course of the game.

Being a former footballer, we carry the disfigurements and markings of contests remembered only by us and no one else. Nothing is more lost than a forgotten game.

Today I attended a very entertaining tournament organized by my fellow *MCA Hon Rottok of Menengai west* where we experienced a talent never seen before.

As a champion of *youth empowerment* I can confidently a certain that Rongai is a *Gold mine of Talent* and we will not rest until we showcase this talent beyond Nakuru county

Today I worshipped with fellow Christians at PCEA EBENEZER CHURCH Matuiku where we received a heart touching sermon .

It is only through GOD'S guidance and Strength that I am able to deliver to my people and my prayer requests today was that *May God keep guiding me in the right path* as I strive to make Mosop and Nakuru County at large a better place 🙏

I was privileged to attend a thanksgiving ceremony to celebrate the success of Bishop Langat's wife Dr .Jane Langat and daughter Ms Sharon Langat education who were pursuing their studies in Dusquen and Seattle University respectively at their home in Westlands, Ngata.

Dr. Jane Langat was recently appointed the Chairperson Women Enterprise Fund.

Today the body of Pst Musa Bor arrived home for night vigil according to the tradition of kalenjins ,I accompanied the family.

The body will be laid tomorrow at his home Boror village, Till his demise Musa was a staunch believer of the word of God.

May his soul rest in eternal peace

Following a meeting held on 5th Dec at the County water headquarters ,I made a commitment to my people that two boreholes would be drilled, one at Mimwaita and the other at Gaakwen.

Today my office and the county office team visited Mimwaita polytechnic ground.

Good news from the Geologist Mr Kamau is that the ground is viable for borehole drilling.We had earlier taken the geological report of Gaakwen ground.

We are making all efforts to hasten the process, which will ensure my people get clean water in the shortest time possible

During our campaigns nurturing youths was one of our agenda as Rongai MCA'S we vowed to remain true to our course and today we met in solai ward to grace Hon Nixon's tournament which was very successful.

Going forward we will soon hold interwards competition both in football and volleyball and unite the entire Rongai as we continue serving our electorate.

The reception and the love of solai people is in another level they send me to deliver greetings to their super Governor and thanked her for the great goodwill to the people of solai.
Solai and mosop Shares a deep history and we are bonded together with ancestral history.
