We got to know who we are.

The good news is that God does not see the way man sees. Man sees the flesh. God sees the spirit. He sees us already complete in Christ. In spite of our imperfections, He sees us as new creations, partakers of His divine nature and more than conquerors over our faults. And He wants us to see ourselves the way He sees us.

Everyone longs for happiness, but few possess it. The pursuit of it is universal and timeless. Generations ago, the writers of the United States Declaration of Independence recognized that longing. They wrote that everyone is endued by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, one of which is the pursuit of happiness.

For most people, however, happiness is elusive. To make it even more elusive, many Christians have been told that holiness and happiness just don't go together. That's because in the church, an emphasis has been placed on Jesus as a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief.

Isaiah 53:5 says, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

However, that is not the whole story. The same Bible that says Jesus suffered also says that He was anointed with the oil of gladness above everyone else and that the joy of the Lord is our strength:

"Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows" (Heb. 1:9).

"Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength" (Neh. 8:10).

No joy = no strength. This is one of the reasons we have a lot of weak Christians.

So, is true happiness obtainable? And if so, how do we get it?

𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 𝐈𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐀𝐓 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊 𝐈𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔, 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 𝐈𝐒!

🔴Nobody will go to hell today or be condemned because of sin, for Jesus was already condemned for our sins; He paid the full penalty for sin.

🔴Therefore, the primary reason people will go to hell is unbelief; it’s for not believing and accepting God’s testimony of His Son.

— It’s for rejecting God’s love which He demonstrated in the sacrifice of His Son, for the propitiation of our sins.

🔴The Bible says,

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

🔴To reject His love is to embrace eternal condemnation.

🔴When you love the Lord with all your heart, you’re free from any form of condemnation. And that love has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost (Romans 5:5), such that not only are we able to love the Lord, we also walk in, and manifest His love to others.

🔴Furthermore, the one who walks in love has passed from death unto life:

“We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death” (1 John 3:14).

🔴Romans 8:1-2 says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

🔴Eternal life was activated in your spirit when you were born again.

🔴Death isn’t at work in you; life is, because you’re a child of God.

🔴The law of the Spirit of life has made you free from the law of sin and death. So, you’re death-free!

🔴When God says He’s made you death-free, it means you’re off death’s limits!

📖Romans 6:8-11 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

🔴Whatever kind of death it may be, whether death in business, finances, health, etc.; you’re off their limits, because life is at work in you. Blessed be God!

The Bible shows us that God has ordained for every Christian a life that is filled with joy. This life is completely at peace, has no barriers in its fellowship with God, and is not contrary to His will in any way. The life that God has prepared for a Christian is one that does not thirst after the world. It walks apart from sin and is victorious over sin. It is holy, powerful, and victorious. It knows the will
of God and fellowships with God without interruption. This is the life that God has ordained in the Scripture for a Christian.
God has ordained a life that is hidden with Christ in God. What can touch this life? What can affect
or shake this life? Just as Christ is unshakable, we also are unshakable. Just as He is transcendent
over all things, we also are transcendent over all things. Our standing before God is the same as
Christ's standing before God. We should never consider that we are destined for weakness and
failure. There is no room for such a thought for a Christian in the Bible. Colossians 3:4 says, "Christ
our life." Christ is far above everything. Nothing can touch Him. Hallelujah! This is the life of Christ!
