Why bus investors are eyeing for the Southern Kenya corridor

The dogo kundu bypass is set to open the Southern Kenya coast corridor with several bus investors eyeing to expand their routes to the towns of Ukunda and Diani.
In a recent post by Dreamline senior driver Harrison Gathi, he posted several routes which may be of interest to investors which included from Ukunda to Western Kenya and Central Kenya.
The bypass which is currently on test will connect the Northern coast and Mombasa and will ease the likoni ferry jam.
Dreamline express LTD has shown interest on the route by posting a picture of the bridge and quoting "Mwalimu wa Geography Hapa ni wapi"

What a year in the Kenya Bus Industry

2023 has been great here are some of the highlights of 2023

Tahmeed Coach LTD took a greater part of the most trending bus company of 2023. From early this year stories of the Master Polo G2 was taking the bus industry by storm many were eager to see the new bus model.

Scania East Africa announced the end of production of the Gemilang second generation as Mash East Africa took the final piece of the gemilang Cake

Papa akiondoka farasi anatawala, we witnessed Tahmeed venturing into the vacant routes left by exit of Modern Coast. From Mombasa Meru to Mombasa Kehancha

South Nyanza Arab invasion, walisema South Nyanza ni ya kisii investors only lakini warabu pia walipata shares huko. We saw Dreamline and Tahmeed Express limited venturing into Mombasa South Nyanza routes.

The theme on Emirata E2 by Buscar caught everyone attention not forgetting the leaked bus photos saga.

Investors walifika bei na Marcopolo ikawacha kuwa moja. Dreamline and Tahmeed bought the Marcopolo G7.

Who ever guessed Jervis C Sundays will make a comeback to the bus industry. He came back but this time under ENA coach investment limited.

Are there any daily buses from Lusaka to Kampala? No there isn't. The buses which head to Kampala from Lusaka are usually hired by churches bringing believers from Lusaka to Kampala.
Some companies in Lusaka such as Ufwenuka Travels and Tours Limited might organise a trip from Lusaka to Kampala at least once in a month to ferry mostly believers to the church in Kampala or any other person with business in Kampala.
According to Ufwenuka Travels the next trip from Lusaka to Kampala will happen on 24th December 2023
