Peace be still.,

My dear countrymen
We're about to cast our votes
What shall be the testimony aftermath?
Shall we point fingers of accusations
to one another?
Shall we have a smooth transition?
Shall there be tribal incitement from
our leadars?
Shall there be tribal demarcation lines
drawn?
Which way my motherland?
We're all one tribe,Kenyans and that's
what matters
Why then go diverse directions in
tribal regrouping?
Shall we invite the ghost of 2007 return
to haunt us down?
We've seen what tribal clashes means
Because the scars are with us.,
And we won't tolerate to see it happen
in our midst
This is a cry of peace,embrace it.

As I reminisce of those cruel,ruthless
killings
A terrible state it was.,
Houses were torched set ablaze
Men shot with arrows
Women r***d
Businesse reduced to ashes
Many took refuge in churches
While others were burnt alive in a church
Many were crippled and homeless
Internally displaced people camps were
quite evident
It was a sad moment for motherland
Kenya
For it was on fire..,

My dear countrymen
Let's be united and love our Nation
Let's be patriotic
Let's love one another despite our tribes
Let's be our brother's keeper
Embrace not the evil way
Let's do it maturely
May the rotten blood of imbecility be
washed astray
Let's vote wisely
Let no grudge grip you
Preach peace
As the Nation enters it's destiny
Sober up, come out of unconsciousness
of evil
This is my cry
A cry of peace to my motherland Kenya
Peace be still.,
