Disciplined Thinking
Self Discipline
Philippians 4:8
And now dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
It is said that the most dominant thoughts direct the course of your life. The Bible confirms this by saying that as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. If that is the case, is it not a wonder that many of us don't think about what we think? When was the last time you deliberately took the time to reflect on what thoughts you have allowed to dominate your mind?
The input in our minds determines the words we speak and ultimately, our actions. You have to program your thoughts to determine your actions, and that takes discipline. Our default setting is to think negative impure and defeated thoughts. What we allow as input into our minds does not help either. All you have to do is just watch the news on any day, and most of the news you see is negative in nature. Knowing that our thoughts determine our words character and action, you and I have to be deliberate in the way we think.
Like someone said, we are not what we think we are, but what we think, we are!
Garbage in, garbage out, and so we have to train ourselves to think and fix our thoughts on what is true and honorable. Before we allow a thought to take root in our minds, ask yourself, is it true and honorable?
Remember, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and so what He says about you is the truth and not the reality that you may be facing on the ground. Are you thinking about things that are right, pure and lovely? Those are the thought you allow to take root in your mind so that they can become words and then actions. Think about things that are admirable and worthy of praise. If you are struggling with impure thoughts, then examine what you are allowing to settle in your mind.
Eman An aesthete . The poetaYou keep watching
someone’s steps . Keep fixing someone’s mess , Keep stitching someone’s broken…
That you didn’t notice you’re already bleeding open.
This the spirit....
-roar-
Broken promises,
Discarded dreams;
Mismatched fabrics,
Frayed at the seams.
Kept trying to patch,
The wedding quilt;
Got all wrapped up,
In blame, shame and guilt.
It took me so long,
To simply understand;
Patience, love and understanding.
All go hand in hand,
Early years,
Of love denied;
Sent a rift through the fabric,
That stretched out through time.
It stretched and it frayed,
And then it broke;
In the aftermath of the wreckage,
I found it difficult to cope.
So hard to unlearn,
All you thought that you knew;
You also discover the experience,
Changed pieces of you.
You can’t go backwards,
No matter how hard you look;
You must close the cover,
And begin a whole new book.
You gather together,
All the lessons you’ve learned;
You take a deep breath,
And reignite the embers that burn.
You learn to transmute,
That hurt, pain and rage;
You use it to propel yourself,
Up, and out of your cage.
You don’t look back,
As you kick open the door;
Your feet hit the ground running,
And then you take off and soar.
You catch the wind in your wings,
Then you’re flying once more;
And the only sound in the silence,
Is your triumphant roar.

“An angel for some,
a demon for some,
for me, it's heart of the one.
Never want to hurt,
keep many secrets beneath the blood.
sob in the dark,
but, people thinks, it's beat of the heart.
No one thought, no one observe,
but, it supplies tears as blood.
One day someone came,
took it out from dark,
she kissed it,
loved it,
played with it,
put it with her heart,
and makes it her life part.
Daily she played,
daily she fought,
But, never she threw it out.
one day, an unknown came,
who kissed her,
loved her,
and used to play with her.
He took my out my heart from her,
and threw it on the street,
then there is nothing more than weep.
An angel for some,
a demon for some,
for me, it's heart of the one.
Never want to hurt,
keep many secrets beneath the blood.

“Heart wants love. Mind wants success. Soul want peace.”
Who knows this guy Thomas Fuller
When I considered you, I saw a person in the spirit who will be a friend to many. They will come to you because you will be known for the love of God in your life. They will feel safe. Even animals will feel safe around you because the presence of God inside of you will be strong. God is making all things new.
Celebrate the small victories because the bigger ones are coming.
He stepped down and saw her ..... looked her like she was the sun much brighter shining to his face and there found it (love) # fate

"The chief beauty about time
is that you cannot waste it in advance.
The next year, the next day, the next hour are lying ready for you,
as perfect, as unspoiled,
as if you had never wasted or misapplied
a single moment in all your life.
You can turn over a new leaf every hour
if you choose.”
Leon Wyczolkowski - Spring in Goscieradz, 1931.
Even sleep escapes when we need it... Just like the other ones...
A young couple moved into a new house.
The next morning while they were eating breakfast, the young woman saw her neighbour hanging the washing outside.
"That laundry is not very clean; she doesn’t know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better soap powder.
Her husband looked on, remaining silent.
Every time her neighbour hung her washing out to dry, the young woman made the same comments.
A month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband, "Look, she’s finally learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this?"
The husband replied, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows."
And so it is with life… What we see when watching others depends on the clarity of the window through which we look.
So don’t be too quick to judge others, especially if your perspective of life is clouded by anger, jealousy, negativity, or unfulfilled desires.
"Judging a person does not define who they are. It defines who you are."

If your wife truly loves you, she will never tell you to choose between her and your mother. You can't say you love honey, but you hate the bee. The only reason honey exists is because the bee produced it. The only reason your wife calls you honey is because your mum produced you! If you want to eat goat meat, you must accept that it can be smelly. But you don't tell the goat to choose between its smell and you eating it. You just eat it, because it is delicious. So, why must a wife ask her handsome husband to choose between her and his mother?

"Indeed you injure me if you suppose me unconvinced. Your reasonings carry my judgment along with them entirely. At first, while I supposed you satisfied that Col. Campbell was the giver, I saw it only as paternal kindness, and thought it the most natural thing in the world. But when you mentioned Mrs. Dixon, I felt how much more probable that it should be the tribute of warm female friendship. And now I can see it in no other light than as an offering of love."
There was no occasion to press the matter farther. The conviction seemed real; he looked as if he felt it. She said no more, other subjects took their turn; and the rest of the dinner passed away; the dessert succeeded, the children came in, and were talked to and admired amid the usual rate of conversation; a few clever things said, a few downright silly, but by much the larger proportion neither the one nor the other—nothing worse than everyday remarks, dull repetitions, old news, and heavy jokes.
