Today we got a chance to deliver a motivation talk to the form four students of The Foothills school Kipipiri in Nyandarua County ahead of the KCSE exams next week.

Our team, gave words of encouragement to the candidates who are eagerly looking forward to sit for the national exam.

SPU Nakuru Campus coordinator Mrs. Ann Ndungu today delivered a talk on importance of mental health to the church elders of PCEA Nakuru West church.

St. Paul's University has a long standing relationship with the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) dating back in early 80's when the PCEA church became a partner and a trustee of St. Paul's University.

SPU Nakuru campus counseling department yesterday conducted Free Counseling Services to members of Staff at the Nakuru Prisons.

The free counseling services included individual and group counseling.

This was in line to advocate for; and improve the mental health as encouraged by the ministry of health during the World Mental Health Day marked on October 10th.

On Monday this week SPU Nakuru campus hosted a delegation from KASNEB.

The KASNEB delegation visit was in line for preparation to start offering KASNEB Course at SPU Nakuru Campus from January 2025.
The KASNEB Courses will include CPA, ATD, CIFA, CISSE among others.

Today we attended the Sunday Church Service at AIC Bondeni Church.
Our team was warmly received by the church administration led by the Senior Pastor Rev. Moses.
After the services members got an opportunity to interact our team members regarding courses offered at SPU Nakuru campus.

Today our marketing team did a wrap of the two days Naivasha SPU activation tour with a visit for the Sunday Church Service at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Naivasha courtesy of the Parish Priest Fr. Simon Githara.

Our team was warmly received; and after the Sunday Mass had great interactions with the church members on the courses offered at St. Paul's University.

We sincerely thank & appreciate the church administration led by Rev. Fr. Simon Githara, the church chairperson; and all the good people of St.. Francis Xavier Catholic church.

Today we had a chance to interact with the good members of the ACK Naivasha Archdeaconry during the church admissions service led the the Rt. Rev. Anthony M. Mambo the 6th Bishop of the ACK Diocese of Nakuru.

The admission service was held at the All Saints ACK Church Naivasha.

DAY 2 of the VC & his delegation visit at the SPU Nakuru campus started with the signing of MOU with the County Government of Nakuru Department of Health at the Nakuru Level 6 Hospital formerly Provincial General Hospital (PGH).

The MOU marks the partnership between SPU School of health Sciences and Nakuru County Government Department of Health. The partnership will benefit both SPU students and the Nakuru county community members.

Later on the team paid a courtesy call to the Diocesan Bishop of ACK Nakuru Rt. Rev. Anthony Mwaura Mambo.
The 6th Bishop of the Diocese of Nakuru is an alumni of SPU Nakuru campus who has also served as a lecturer.

SPU Nakuru campus is hosting the university Vice Chancellor Rev. Canon Prof. James Kombo accompanied by a team from the main campus that includes DVCAA Prof. Abraham Waithima, DVCF&A Rev. Truphie Kwaka, HRM Mrs. Lucy Gikeri and Head of Corporate Affairs Mr. Michael Mungai for a two day visit at SPU Nakuru Campus.

Day one was marked by a series of events;
Meetings with the students leaders.
Community Service.
Meeting with the staff.

Once again our corporate Affairs team was on the road this time visiting St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Nakuru to attend the Sunday Church Service and later on had an exhibition stand after the Mass courtesy of the Parish Priest Fr. Kamau.

A Big Thank to the good Christians of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic church for the warm welcome.

God's Blessing to the administration of the church led by Fr. Kamau and entire congregation.

We were part of the congregation at ACK St. Luke's Parish Kiamunyeki during the admission and commission service of the Kabatini Archdeaconry. The Service was presided over by the Bishop of the ACK Diocese of Nakuru Rt. Rev. Anthony Mambo.

The ACK Diocese of Nakuru has been a major pillar of SPU Nakuru campus as a host as well as a development partner.

This week the SPU Nakuru campus received sporting gear and sporting balls from the County Government of Nakuru through the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Youth, Sports, Gender, and Social Services, Hon. Josephine Atieno.

The Sporting gear and balls were warmly received by the Nakuru campus coordinator and Nakuru campus students who appreciated the Nakuru County Government through the CECM Sports for the generous support.

Hon. Josephine highlighted and appreciated the Nakuru campus efforts of ensuring that sports & other extra curriculum activities are extended beyond the campus to reach to the community especially Nakuru East sub county.

On his part the campus coordinator appreciated the good working relationship with the county government of Nakuru through the ministry of sports and the ministry of education promising that the SPU Nakuru campus remains committed to empowering young people within the community.
