HARSH REALITY ABOUT DOING COVER SONGS VS ORIGINAL SONGS

1. Original songs need marketing while cover songs market themselves,
Artists who consistently do cover music are likely to grow faster than wale wa original song. But pia inategemea na grace ya God.
2. Cover songs cannot be done by any body. You must be very good to do a cover music, i mean k**a unafanya cover song ya rayvanny. Ni must uimbe k**a yeye or better. Because fans wanajua io song and diffinately they will rate your song with the original one so hakuna kucheat they will know k**a umeua ama umechemsha. Personally i can't risk🤣🤣
3. Not evry producer can work on a cover song. Alright, katika music production kuna 3rd ear . A muaic producer must be able to understand the logic behind the original song. I mean the key, the lyrics, the instruments used in making the beat and must make at least 90% accurate . Most producers especially sisi upcoming we dont have all the softwares 🤣🤣 that has all the sounds 😥😥 kagoh umesema software.. zinaitwa plugins bro🤣🤣.
4. Cover songs must be done on time.
Alright i am a music manager to savanna and she did a cover song yenye original song yake was ten yrs ago. Later akafanya another one 1moth ago. Finally she did another one 2days after the original one. Clearly ile ya ten yrs ago na 2days ago zilienda sana. Without promotion🤣🤣Now most of us hatuna doo za kufanya cover song 2days afta original one tufanye aje kagoh. Well try do an accoustic or reggae versions to it and use it to grow ypur social media. I mean hauna any reason yakukosa kucreate content sio must ukue na manager.
5. Before doing any cover song you must be able to listen keenly to how the song was made. Na lazima ujue uyo msanii wako kwa undani i mean before doing a rayvanny song make sure you know him i mean huezi tu fanya cover song ya kila ngoma . Lazima uchukue ya msee unapenda na unamuelewa.
