Being an artist, the idea of an art school in Kenya has lingered in my mind for years. When the opportunity arose to redefine institution design, I knew I had to define architecture for the future art schools. A new blend of materials and forms that inspire creativity in learners and respect nature is needed while keeping the institutions modern.
