From a structural perspective, EPS 3D panels have higher structural integrity than masonry/brick-and-mortar combination. This is because the EPS-shotcrete material behaves monolithically and has no joints, compared to the same area of masonry wall which has numerous joints and thus points of weakness.

EPS slab panels are easy to install and reduce the construction cost since the panels act as trappers to hold concrete while supported by a grid of 6' by 1' timber across the ribs. You do not have to buy marine boards, thus saving up to a 1/3 of the formwork costs.
