WHAT IS IMPERIALISM?

Is Russia 'Imperialist'?

Too many faux 'leftists' and too many faux 'Marxists' claim that Russia is an imperialist power.

Is Russia capitalist? Of course. It was created via the tragic overthrow of the workers of the Soviet Union. It was a capitalist takeover.

That overthrow of the Soviet Union was done by the very leaders of the CPSU, as Trotsky had warned, decades earlier, if the growing Soviet bureaucracy was allowed to continue to increase its power.

That 1991 overthrow of the USSR was coordinated with US-led imperialism.

Thereafter, US-led imperialism proceeded to oversee the destruction of the great Soviet industrial base, that had been created when the working class held power.

US-led imperialism only desired Russia as a COLONY, not a rival capitalist power, let alone a rival imperialist power.

Does that not show the relationship of forces?

Too many faux 'Marxists' equate 'capitalism' with imperialism.

This is a fundamental misunderstanding of the capitalist system.

Capitalism, in its simplest and definition, is the rule of the capitalist market by those with money, over those without money.

'Money', in the above, arises from commodity production, under capitalist rule, in the money-commodity-money circulation process.

However, Imperialism takes the form of one national bourgeois ruling class ruling over other national bourgeois ruling classes.

Imperialism, therefore, is the 'highest stage of capitalism', in that it elevates one national bourgeoisie, over other national bourgeoisies.

Is there a simple way to show that the US capitalist ruling class is the DOMINANT ruler, over all the other nation states, in the capitalist market?

Yes, there is a simple way to do it, even without referring to its 850 military bases around the world!

Even those 850 military bases are not the MARXIST way to determine the nature of CAPITALIST imperialism. The Roman Empire had its military conquer a good deal of the world. However, it was a

And why do we need to beg for mercy every time? In post-1865, after SLAVE-OWNING PRESIDENT Abraham Lincoln "freed" the Afro-american slaves, the lynching was so bad that blacks had to research on the history and culture of every town they will cross when traveling. Any wrong turn usually was met by some sort of humiliation or death. By 1936, a special instruction guide (1) was even written to inform the repressed/CORNERED black man on where to go and to stop. It has turned into an addictive RITUAL: We get shot, we die, we protest with Black Lives Matter that collects donations and sells t-shirts, we gather hand in hand, flowers are brought, candles are lit, prayers are said, speeches/sermons are made by politicians, and reverends, and some of us even take time to showcase our idiosyncrasies. In the following month or months, everything's forgotten (AMNESIA) until the next death takes us back to the damn streets. A DAMN RITUAL! In the meantime, as good CHOIR BOYS, we're getting trained like robots to assault, kill, rob non-whites worldwide. After 400+ years of outright mental/physical lynching, the black man should've been living like a predator, and not the prey that everybody else can afford to take shots at for free and get away with it. WIBRICS: have decided to create a new reserve currency, which could save the life of many nations across the world!

Initiated by the Russian president Vladimir Putin, the G8 economic bloc BRICS has decided to create a new international reserve currency based on the currencies of member countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa). Putin made the announcement last Wednesday in a message welcoming participants at the BRICS Business Forum.

This reserve is said to develop transport infrastructure, rebuild logistics routes and create new production chains. "I would like to emphasise that Russia's strategy is unchanged: in strengthening its economic, technological and scientific potential, we are ready to work openly with all conscientious partners on the principles of respect for each other's interests, the unconditional supremacy of international law and the equality of countries and peoples," Vladimir Putin said.

Many say this would likely have a major impact on the US dollar, which was previously the only reserve currency.

Kenya’s economic meltdown is at crisis level, and is set to worsen in the coming days.
