Did you know the falls gained their current name during the colonial era in 1902 when a British settler named Martin Sutton purchased the land surrounding the falls (Nyakinyua) Sutton named the falls “Fourteen Falls” because of the fourteen distinct waterfalls that cascade down the rocky gorge,the falls was later introduced by William northrup mcmillan in 1905 mcmillan owned muka mukuu farm and juja farm.

Fourteen Falls is a spectacular waterfall located in Thika,kilimambogo Kenya. Here, you can stroll around the rocks at the base, take in the local flora, and soak in the cool spray from the falls. Activities such as boating across the river, bird watching, fishing,river adventure,hinking are popular too. The stunning landscape is also a photographer's paradise, with endless opportunities to capture its breathtaking beauty. Keep your eyes peeled as you might catch a diving spectacle performed by the professional divers.
