Sochii Gaa boy/child empowerment initiative was launched on 8/7/2022 at Kiminda village kapsabet kenya.Its a way of giving back to society and empowering youths to be positive and independent.With increase scarcity of resources youths shd be empowered to get out of comfort zones and explore the world full of opportunities.
I choose boy/Child.since society has concentrated too much on girls neglecting boy child/Male.Statistics shows girls/Ladies are given priorities due to decades empowerment.This affected todays boy/child standards of living
Due to lack of morals and encouragement Boys/Male has angeged in Abuse of drugs and substance.There is increase rate of school drop outs,Failures,Broken early marriages,Fights and bullying, health complications,Sucide missions.
Sochii gaa initiative has an annual tournament [Football,valleyball,sochii gaa under 15 boys cross country] Also young boys were introduced to baseball and crickets.Organized by Dorcas Jebotip Tarus ,Student/Athlete in Thailand assisted by Son Davis kipchirchir Student Moi High School Kabarak.and well wishers.
The organization work in progress is to create income generating projects to youths,In plan are Advanced Berber shops,Landscaping team,Entertainment system contol team, etc
Also talented youths in sports will be given opportunities and guidance.Currently 2 athletes sponsered at Kapsabet scholarship training centre.
Always charity begins at home!
