🇰🇷🇰🇬In a concerted effort to advance the Kyrgyz Republic's livestock industry and enhance its agricultural productivity, the conference titled "Use of Biotechnological Methods for Improvement of Cattle Breeding Stock in the Kyrgyz Republic" convened on the 23rd of October, 2023, at the Orion Hotel in Bishkek. This significant gathering marked a pivotal point in the ongoing project, "Development of a Program to Improve the Number of Livestock and Increase the Productivity of Livestock Farming in the Kyrgyz Republic 2021-2023," an initiative that has brought together diverse stakeholders committed to the growth and prosperity of the livestock sector in Kyrgyzstan.

🇰🇬🇰🇷В целях развития животноводства Кыргызской Республики и повышения продуктивности сельского хозяйства 23 октября 2023 года в гостинице «Орион» в Кыргызской Республике была проведена конференция «Использование биотехнологических методов для улучшения племенного поголовья крупного рогатого скота в Кыргызской Республике». Бишкек. Это знаменательное собрание стало поворотным моментом в текущем проекте «Разработка Программы по улучшению поголовья скота и повышению продуктивности животноводства в Кыргызской Республике на 2021-2023 годы», инициативе, которая объединила различные заинтересованные стороны, приверженные рост и процветание животноводческого сектора
в Кыргызстане.

🇰🇷 🇰🇬On the 22nd of September KOPIA Center and PF “EcoFarm” conducted the conference “Supporting and promoting the integration of small farmers in the fruit and berry market”. Participants got familiar with the results of a comprehensive study of the process of growing, storing, processing and marketing fruit and berry crops in the Issyk-Kul region. In addition, the results of the implementation of the pilot project in the Issyk-Kul and Chui regions of Kyrgyzstan from August 2021 to December 2023 were summarized up.

Within the framework of the project, implemented by PF "EcoFarm" with the financial support of the KOPIA Center in the Kyrgyz Republic the followings were achieved:
✅practical and theoretical trainings were conducted:
110 trainings in 8 villages of Issyk-Kul and 2 villages Chui region for farmers and students of specialized higher educational institutions.
✅1420 farmers were trained;
✅18 units of infrared equipment were handed over to farmers in Issyk-Kul and Chui regions;
✅15 students completed internship;
✅30 completed trainings;
✅A study of the potential of the external and internal market was conducted: “Study of the expert potential of Kyrgyzstan and fresh dried fruits”;
✅Contract with the Frunze network and the Russian Lenta network, Ozon;
✅The second study “Comprehensive study on the process of growing, storing, processing and marketing of fruit and berry crops in the Issyk-Kul region” was carried out;
✅During the implementation of the project, 10 methodological programs were created on the following topics:
🧪Soil and approval;
🌳Formation and pruning of trees;
🪳Apple tree pests and ways to combat them;
🍁Autumn garden treatment;
🫐Pruning raspberries and currants;
🪱Biohumus: types and applications;
🍃Plants against pests;
🦠Garden diseases: main types and methods of combating them;
🍊Drying technology. Food industry.
💼Creation of an agricultural cooperative: conditions for the creation of cooperatives, their rights and obligations in Kyrgyz Republic.

🇰🇷🇰🇬Within the framework of the project “Establishment of technology for processing apples and other fruit and berry crops of small farms in Kyrgyz Republic" representatives of the KOPIA Center had a business trip to Yssyk-Kul region along with the representatives of PFE “EcoFarm” in order to conduct the monitoring and trainings on the following topics:
• Establishment of cooperatives
• Drying pastila technologies
We hope that the trainings conducted and the exchange of experience will be fruitful for our farmers and will positively impact on their earnings 💵

• Создание кооперативов
• Технологии сушки пастилы

🇰🇷🇰🇬Within the framework of the project “Selection of productive forage and establishment of seed production platform in Kyrgyzstan '' and “Expanding the use of biotechnological methods to improve the breeding stock of cattle in the Kyrgyz Republic” the representatives of KOPIA Center had a business trip to Issyk-Kul along with the representatives of KSRILP in order to conduct a seminar for farmers and A.I technicians.

🇰🇬🇰🇷В рамках проекта «Подбор продуктивных кормов и создание семеноводческой площадки в Кыргызстане» и «Расширение использования биотехнологических методов для улучшения маточного поголовья крупного рогатого скота в Кыргызской Республике» представители KOPIA Центра совершили командировку на Иссык-Куль вместе с представителями КырНИИЖиП с целью проведения семинара для фермеров и техников искусственного осеменения.

We hope that our contribution will have a positive impact on farmers' incomes.

"The use of biotechnological methods to improve the breeding stock of cattle in the Kyrgyz Republic" with the participation of Dr. Oh Sung Jong, Director of the KOPIA in Uzbekistan, Dr. Kwang Seog Chu, Director of the KOPIA Center in the Kyrgyz Republic , representatives of KSRILP, and insemination technicians. We express our deep gratitude to Dr. Oh Sung Jong for sharing his experience and knowledge about artificial insemination.

🇰🇷🇰🇬Meanwhile, in our Technopark, work is underway to transplant strawberries and hydrangeas, as well as install a water pipe from a greenhouse to open ground.

🇰🇷🇰🇬Within the framework of the project "Development of a program on the improvement of the Kyrgyz breed in cattle and increase of the productivity of livestock in the Kyrgyz Republic" 3,000 doses of semens of the Holstein-Friesian breed were brought from South Korea.

🇰🇬🇰🇷В рамках проекта «Разработка программы по улучшению кыргызской породы крупного рогатого скота и повышению продуктивности животноводства в Кыргызской Республике» из Южной Кореи завезено 3000 доз семян Голштино-Фризской породы.
