Each art piece sale will donate 70% of the proceeds to Hiroshima House, helping the kids studying there pursue education and a better future.
About Hiroshima House
The Hiroshima House in Cambodia has an inspiring story. It began with the Hiroshima-Cambodia Civic Exchange Association supporting Cambodian athletes during the 1994 Hiroshima Asian Games. When the citizens of Hiroshima learned about the challenges faced by the Cambodian athletes, they rallied behind them.
After the games, Reverend Osamu Shibui helped bring to life the idea of constructing the Hiroshima House within the Wat Ounalom Pagoda in Phnom Penh. The house was completed in 2006 and was founded on a powerful concept. Its aim was to share the history of Hiroshima’s devastation by the atomic bomb with the Cambodian people, who themselves had experienced the horrors of the Khmer Rouge regime.
Today, the Hiroshima House provides a nurturing environment for learning and growth for around 65 children, including those living on the streets. It stands as a symbol of hope, unity, and resilience, joining the shared journeys of Hiroshima and Cambodia.
By offering educational opportunities and fostering cross-cultural connections, the Hiroshima House embodies the unwavering spirit of both communities and serves as a bridge between them. It is a testament to the power of understanding, peace, and ongoing exchanges. This demonstrates that even in the face of immense challenges, compassion and cooperation can create a brighter future.
Sok sabay guys, we are excited to announce that we are currently exhibiting as part of the Samaki group exhibition at Hiroshima House Cambodia in Phnom Penh organised by Casatake of Phnom Penh Photography Collective.
The exhibition runs from February 24 to the end of this weekend, so be sure to check it out and immerse yourself in the works of more than 50 photographers and 10 visual artists.

It was a wonderful experience working on this project, so I’m also sharing the different options and variations of the design process. Thanks, Nat for providing me with such fun opportunities.
