The Phnom Da is granite outcrop and historic site in Angkor Borei where Cambodian people known as an important archaeological site and important religious centre following the pre- history. Currently, two temples still remain standing on this mount and several caves that have been found its base. The principle temple known as Phnom Da was build in the 11th century on foundations remaining from Funan period, at the northest slope of the mountain is another temple name Asram Maha Sosei was built from very hard basalt stone has only been used in two temples in Cambodia.

Spean Praptos also known as Kampong Kdei Bridge on the road from Angkor to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, used to be the longest corbeled stone-arch bridge in the world, with more than twenty narrow arches spanning 285 ft (87m). The bridge was built in the 12th century during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. It is one of the few Khmer empire era bridges to have survived to the modern day. Several other bridges on the same model are visible: in the Angkor site (Spean Memai), Spean Thma on the former path of the Siem Reap River between Angkor Thom and the Eastern Baray, and at several locations of the former empire.

At Toul Sleng genocide museum
Khmer Rouge used S21 as a tool to identify everyone who they considered as their enemies. At least 18063 prisoners were detained interrogated tortured and executed following their forced confessions. Victims were former Khmer Rouge cadres farmer family doctor professor intellectual students teacher monk children who brought together with their parents. Upon arrival S21 children were separated from parents then send out to executed at killing field. In addition to their bios, museum also has children clothing and serve crucial and witness bearing exhibits.

Traveling an hour and half from Phnompenh toward to the north, Kompong Chhnang is a province along Tonle Sap where most people is fishermen and farmers. Attractive things in this province are

On the far side of the harbour after taking ferry from province center you can rent a motorbike or tuk-tuk onwards to prasat Kompong Preah, Prasat Srey, Prasat Pros, Prasat Ponreay an obscure Chenla-era temple end of 6th - 8 th century which is about 17km. It is in a very dilapidated condition these days, but the red-brick tower still has an identifiably Khmer appearance, resembling the smaller Chenla shrines at the site of Sambor Prei K*k near Kampong Thom. The best-preserved feature is the “false door” motif, which is shown quite clearly in the picture below. These days it is surrounded by rice paddies Buddhist pagoda and is embraced by the branches of a large tree. It is a lonesome reminder that this backwards province was once a centre for the Chenla kingdom, which ruled Cambodia during the seventh and eighth centuries.

There are almost 5000 ha of salt flats in Kompot- Kep. The highest quality Kampot sea salt is Kampot Flower of Salt (Fleur de sel de Kampot), the fleur de sel harvested in small quantities from each pond only during April and May, the warmest months of the year, when there is little to no wind. Salt production has a long history in the region, but the industry grew rapidly in the 1940s and 1950s. During the Khmer Rouge and the subsequent Cambodian Civil War salt production was nationalized. In 1986, a group of Kampot residents were granted 50 hectares of land by the state and given permission to start salt production as private entrepreneurs.
