The pomelo is a citrus fruit, similar in appearance to a large grapefruit, native to South and Southeast Asia. In Cambodia it is widely appreciated. The pomelos grown in the island of Koh Trong actually received a Geographical Indication (GI), a sign used on products that have a specific geographical origin and possess qualities or a reputation that are due to that origin.
