Transforming Education: A Tale of Triumph in TDSO - Teacher Development Support Organization and Aide et Action SEA-Cambodia Partnership Delighted to share the inspiring success story of the collaborative initiative between TDSO and AEA, aimed at empowering educators through a pioneering pilot project. Together, we've provided comprehensive training in English language acquisition, essential pedagogical skills, and low-threshold Ed-tech applications. The impact has been profound, significantly elevating the standard of education for primary school students. The inaugural cohort, comprising 47 teachers across 4 districts in Siem Reap Province, has witnessed remarkable transformations. Building on this success, our program now extends its reach to 64 teachers in Puok and Bakong, with an additional 64 set to commence their journey in April 2024. The resounding positive feedback from stakeholders underscores the efficacy of our collaborative efforts. We're proud to be catalysts of change, working hand in hand to shape a brighter future for education. EPO Program Success Story
Below is a success story video from the English for Partner Organizations (EPO) program, in partnership with the SPOONS Cambodia Organization. In our English Language Center, we believe in empowering organizations and NGOs to excel in their core missions while we take care of their English language needs. We understand that many organizations do not have the resources or expertise to teach English, so we offer tailored courses that meet their specific needs. Our experienced educators create engaging and effective language programs that seamlessly integrate with the organization's existing activities. The EPO program has been shown to be effective in helping students improve their English skills and achieve their career goals. The result of the course evaluation, based on TDSO’s Quality Assurance (QA) Framework, indicates that students who completed the program have made significant improvements in their English proficiency as well as their confidence and job prospects. The TDSO - Teacher Development Support Organization is grateful to the SPOONS Cambodia Organization for their trust in the EPO program. Their great cooperation has made it possible for students to improve their English language communication skills and pursue their dream careers. The TDSO alumni meetup was held on Sunday, July 30th, with the topic "Fun Activities to Teach Pronunciation." The participants enjoyed working on different activities, such as the stretching and clapping game to identify the word stress, tongue twister race, chanting, and humming the tune to practice the tone and intonation in different statements. Our participants found most of the activities to be fun, helpful, and applicable in teaching pronunciation to their students. We are looking forward to the next meetup, which will be held on September 10th.
