Never a dull day on Bukhansan, Insubong. It rained all night and into the morning, so we opted for a late start (3:00pm climbing) to let the rock dry. It was still damp, wet in spots, but completely within our comfort zone. Pigeon route. Go get it!

취나드a 성공햇어!!! Finally sent this thing today. Feeling very happy. We swapped pitches and nobody fell or took. Such a lovely day. A big shout out to and for teaching us how to crack climb. Let’s get those over to South Korea for the trad festival!

Big photo dump from a wild day out adventuring yesterday. Got completely sandbagged on some old school grades. First pitch was “5.9”, but consensus 5.11a slab by modern standards. We all fell miserably on that one, but somehow made our way to the top and got to experience this wonderful roof crack. Super exposure and a very airy feel.^^

Another great day climbing trad on “Bat” route on Seoninbong, Dobongsan located in Bukhansan National park. We were the only ppl on the mountain today. Completely empty and peaceful with Buddhist hymns playing in the background.

Insubong season is back! At least until Monday when it shuts down for a yearly 2 week maintenance period. It felt great to touch those cracks again after nearly 4 months. And not a soul on the mountain except for us! Wild boar season as well 😉

A pretty darn good weekend sport climbing of all things! The weather was nice n warm, the camping was comfy enough, the pizza was delish, there was an outhouse, and I even enjoyed the climbing.

Just when we thought we’d explored most of the ridges, we found a new one. Nestled between Insubong and Beagundae peak is a pretty sweet ridge scramble with some nice rock and a decent crack. Join us this winter for a guided hike adventure.

A superb day on the mtn! A great team, no people, smooth travels, sunset summit, nighttime dark rappel, and a feast after; perfect!

The perfect climbing day! Cool temps, but not too cold. Perfect timing, with a ton of teams in front of us, but no traffic jams. The perfect level for everyone. Efficiency on the wall. No wait belays. Hiked out just at dark. Restaurant car pick up. Amazing dinner. *Thanks guys! Fantastic team. How every climbing day should be!
