Thanks to our partners and and our local and international community, we have managed to raise over a million won towards the Gaza relief fund from .
As many of you know, 7 WCK aid workers were killed in an IDF attack that was publicly acknowledged, which has severely impacted their and other aid groups’ ability to provide desperately needed aid to the people in Gaza and surrounding regions.
As we observe Passover, this year may we do what has been commanded us and take this story seriously. Leave an empty chair so that we do not forget the plight of the hostages. Put olives on your Seder plate in a symbolic hope for peace in Israe and the world. And serve strawberries to remember the countless lives lost in Gaza to the arrogance and pride of leaders in Israel and the terror of Hamas. We can hold all those who are oppressed, held captive, and in desperate need in our empathy at once. We can choose love over division.

1. Dates and Venue: 2022.07.16(Sat), Seoul Plaza

2. Program:
1) Booths(11:00~19:00): More than 80 booths will be welcoming participants with various programs. Please enjoy our offline, in-person pride event that has not been possible for a while, and help us continue to create such experiences through donations.
2) Welcome Performances(14:00~16:00): There will be performances to welcome everyone who came to the Seoul Q***r Parade. Enjoy exciting performances until the march starts, and power up by listening to the speeches of solidarity from people coming from different parts of Korean society.
3) Parade(March)(16:00~17:30): Our pride march has returned after three years. Dance and celebrate! Let’s color every part of Seoul and celebrate with pride.
4) Celebrating Performances(17:30~19:00): There will be performances to celebrate the end of the march. Please hold on tp the happiness and pride you felt at the Seoul Q***r Parade. We will meet again next year to celebrate each other’s existence.

This week the Ethiopian Jewish community will begin its celebration of Sigd, an ancient holiday which is formally observed 50 days after Yom Kippur. Since 2008, Sigd has been recognized in Israel as a national holiday. Ethiopian Israelis today use the holiday to celebrate the history and culture of the Beta Yisrael.
