For those of you who don’t know what IVAO is, it is basically an online network connecting Pilots from multiple simulators, MSFS, XP12/11, P3D, etc… with ATC real persons. Events, group flights, trainings, and ratings are all on the menu.

One of our Cessna 172 planes, OD-PMS, took off from Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport Wednesday October 13th at 10:06 a.m. local time. Less than 20 minutes later, the plane disappeared from air navigation radars over the sea in the Halat area.
On board the aircraft, our Chief Instructor Pilot Ali Hajj Ahmed and his student pilot, Pascale Abdel Ahad. This morning, thanks to the relentless and combined efforts of the authorities, the plane and its crew were found. 
We at the Aeroclub of Lebanon are very sad and devastated to come forth with such news, and we would like to extend all our support and prayers to the respective families and friends with whom we share our greatest sorrow.

May Lebanese people rise again in glory!
