George Clooney and Hyun Bin sport new OMEGA Speedmaster
Actors George Clooney and Hyun Bin take a front-seat role in the promotion of OMEGA’s new Speedmaster ’57 collection. Emblematic of the original Speedmaster design of 1957, the eight new watches feature a slim style, colourful dial choices, a vintage bracelet, and an outstanding Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9906 movement

Perfectly complementing both sides of the famous chronograph, Clooney brings his classic style and iconic character to the campaign, yet again highlighting his long-standing connection to OMEGA. On the other hand, Hyun Bin is the rising star, with a cool and modern spirit that epitomises the Speedmaster’s constant evolution.

As the name suggests, the Speedmaster ’57 is emblematic of the original Speedmaster design, which was released in 1957 for racing car drivers and engineers on the track. As a tribute, today’s Speedmaster ’57 collection of eight new watches is delivered with a slim style, colourful dial choices, a vintage bracelet, and an outstanding Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9906 movement – reaching the pinnacle of precision, magnetic-resistance, and performance.

George Clooney is a long-time friend of OMEGA and, in many ways, both he and the Speedmaster share the same story. Both their lives began in the optimistic years of the space age, and both are known for their lasting popularity and qualities of excellence.

For this shoot, George wears the stainless steel model with a PVD blue dial. Among the new portraits, the actor can be seen wearing the timepiece while driving a vintage car near his home around Lake Como – a nod to the Speedmaster’s racing origins.

The South Korean actor Hyun Bin recently joined the OMEGA family. Exuding his typically confident and laid-back style, he was shot on location with a classic car in Korea, this time wearing a 40.5 mm stainless steel model with a black dial.

Coinciding with the 65th anniversary of the Speedmaster line, the full OMEGA Speedmaster ’57 collection now includes eight new models. Along with blue and black dial models, there are also green and burgundy choices. Signature 1957 details include the brushed metallic bezel with its “Dot Over Ninety”, as well as the famous Broad Arrow hands.

OMEGA is a company of the Swatch Group, the largest manufacturer and distributor of watches and jewellery in the world.

Gisele Bündchen wears Portofino Chronograph in IWC Schaffhausen global campaign
IWC Schaffhausen has kicked off a worldwide advertising campaign with Brazilian model and environmentalist Gisele Bündchen – IWC’s first-ever Environmental and Community Projects Advisor – to launch its new Portofino collection. In the campaign, Gisele wears different Portofino models, including the new Portofino Chronograph 39 with the IWC-manufactured 69355 calibre movement and a sapphire glass case back. Upgrading the Portofino line, IWC Schaffhausen has introduced new models in 34 mm and 37 mm. The Portofino Automatic 34 collection has been enhanced with new colours, calfskin straps, and a newly engineered metal bracelet. The new Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34 enchants with its charming day and night complication. The Portofino Automatic 37 and Portofino Automatic Moon Phase 37 feature self-winding movements from the IWC-manufactured 32000 calibre family with a power reserve of 120 hours and sapphire glass case backs. The case geometry has been optimised in the diamond-set bezels to accommodate larger diamonds and reflect the light better thanks to the improved setting.

Montblanc celebrates Japanese manga with Naruto collection
Luxury maison Montblanc collaborates with the beloved anime and manga series on a cross-category collection marking the global cultural phenomenon’s 20th anniversary

Since it first appeared 20 years ago, Japanese manga and anime series Naruto has captured the imagination of fans all around the world with its colourful stories about the adventures of young ninja Naruto Uzumaki. With its roots firmly anchored in the culture of writing, Montblanc is celebrating the art of creative storytelling and the cultural influence of Naruto with the Montblanc x Naruto collection of writing instruments and accessories, leather goods and smart watches.

The series follows the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki, a young, orphaned ninja who navigates a fictional world in his search of recognition and fulfilling his ambition of becoming the Hokage, his village’s leader and strongest ninja. The design of the Montblanc x Naruto collection emphasises the importance of the transmission of knowledge by highlighting the relationship between Naruto and the older Jiraiya, a hermit and mentor to the young hero.

In addition to the characters set against a black background, the pieces feature bold orange design elements that evoke brush strokes, ink drops, and calligraphy-style symbols associated with the art of writing. To mark the launch of the collaboration, the Naruto team has created a special anime short that reinforces the power of writing and transmission, with Jiraiya reflecting on Naruto’s journey, the advice he gives Naruto and what really matters in life.

The collection includes a new edition of the Montblanc Meisterstück, a tool that has been at the service of self-expression and creativity for generations. The Montblanc x Naruto Meisterstück Special Edition is available as a rollerball, a ballpoint, or as a fountain pen featuring a gold nib with ruthenium-coat embellishment and highlighted with the “Village hidden in the leaves” symbol in yellow gold. A special orange ink in a glass bottle and a leather notebook decorated with Naruto completes the writing assortment.

The Montblanc x Naruto Leather Goods assortment consists of a Sling Bag, Chest Bag, and Mini Reporter to be worn crossbody, as well as a Tote and Pouch with Wrist Strap. Each piece features a Naruto and/or Jiraiya depiction against the black leather, with the reverse in orange leather decorated with the writing symbols. A Montblanc x Naruto Summit 3 Smart Watch features exciting Naruto animations on the watch face, as well as a Smaller Leather Goods and smart accessories including an iPhone 13 Cover and Air Pods Case.

Panerai dives into the deep with new collection

Submersible QuarantaQuattro Luna Rossa
Panerai is resuming its role as the Official Sponsor of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team for the 37th America’s Cup. Since 2017, Panerai has created watches inspired by the materials and technology used in the America’s Cup and yachting world. The Submersible QuarantaQuattro Luna Rossa is a limited edition of 1,500. The 44mm steel case is engineered to withstand the rigours of ocean racing, while its restrained design and neutral, marine-inspired colour palette of blue, white and red adapts to a casual style. With its patented crown protection device, rubberised crown and rotating unidirectional bezel, an improved date window at 3 o’clock and small seconds subdial, the timepiece is the ideal diver’s companion. It is powered by the Calibre P.900, an automatically winding movement with a three-day power reserve. A sun-brushed blue dial – featuring the team name – contrasts the white Super-LumiNova-embedded metallic appliques that make the dots, markers and hands glow. Water-resistant up to 300 meters, the timepiece is completed by a dark blue bi-material strap accented with the red-and-white Luna Rossa logo, with a second strap of recycled rubber in blue. Also included is a tool kit to allow strap changes.
Submersible QuarantaQuattro Carbotech Blu Abisso
With the debut of the Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro, the 44mm case will become a cornerstone of the iconic Submersible dive watches collection, joining existing 47mm and 42mm sizes. The Submersible QuarantaQuattro collection is water-resistant up to 300 meters, with the patented crown-protecting device inextricably linked to Panerai’s marine heritage. Additionally, a uni-directional rotating bezel to measure submersion time and metallic appliques filled with white Super-LumiNova makes it an indispensable diving instrument. The P.900 calibre features a seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock, with a three-day power reserve. Panerai has unveiled three distinctive editions of the Submersible QuarantaQuattro to herald its arrival.

The foundation for the Submersible QuarantaQuattro Carbotech Blu Abisso is a case composed of the lightest material employed by the brand. Panerai pioneered the use of carbotech – utilised in aeronautics, motorsports and biomedicine – in watch design. A composite based on carbon fibre, its numerous properties – lighter than titanium, high resistance to corrosion and scratching – makes it feel weightless on the wrist while possessing remarkable strength. Its inherent variegated black colouring ensures unique cases. A titanium DLC crown in a similar black hue harmonises the Carbotech construction, while the dial and coordinating straps are a deep undersea blue.

Submersible QuarantaQuattro eSteel
The Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro eSteel recognises the critical importance of sustainability goals while maintaining the brand’s established design codes and technical finesse: 72g of the watch is made of recycled materials, corresponding to 52% of its total weight, which is 137g. eSteel has the same properties as conventional steel, including identical chemical behaviour, physical structure and resistance to corrosion, making it ideal for Submersible diving watches collection. An engraving on the crown protection device and inscription on the dial indicate the presence of eSteel. The dial and bezel of the 44mm timepiece match, with options in Deep Blue, Gray and Green.

The timepiece is original in more ways than one, as polished ceramic has never been used before for the unidirectional bezel. Another standout element is the dial, with a polished finish and colour gradient that steadily deepens from top to bottom. The P.900, an automatic calibre only 4.2mm thick, supports a date indication and three-day power reserve. The timepiece is water-resistant to 300 meters. Two straps – the same colour as their companion dial – are included with each watch, along with a tool that allows strap-interchangeability. The first strap is of fabric made from recycled PET, while the second is of recycled rubber.
