Batoota Films have also a unique portfolio in TV and documentary productions, including award-winning documentaries for Al Jazeera English and UK’s Channel 4. Beirut Under Siege (2006) filmed during the 2006 war in Lebanon, won Best Editing at the Palermo Documentary Festival in Italy and 'Ashura: Blood and Beauty' (2005) won Outstanding Short Film at the San Francisco Arab Film Festival and the 2007 Noor Award. Batoota Films have managed projects in the UK, Cambodia, Brazil, Libya, Syria, Egypt, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Lebanon.
