Since 1860, thousands of families have fled Iraq and Syria for refuge in Lebanon. The Chaldean community, seeking sanctuary from violence and oppression, finds support from Oikos in their integration into Beirut’s community. Oikos is dedicated to promoting social inclusion by empowering Chaldeans with tools to develop new skills, particularly in the environmental sector.
