Siwa Oasis is one of Egypt's most isolated settlements, with about 33,000 people, mostly Berbers who developed a unique culture and a distinct language of the Berber family called Siwi.
In Siwa lives 11 tribes; we got the chance to meet and be informed by the Sheikh Omar about Siwa's history and local traditions

The historic town of Siwa stands on an isolated oasis situated in the Western Desert region of Egypt, approximately 550 km west of the capital Cairo.
Characterized by its vernacular architecture, DiLab will be designing a museum that would exhibit the work of the distinguished Egyptian architect, artist and poet Hassan Fathi
