Overview
The Electronic Technician will repair existing electronic products, equipment, and controls
Responsibilities:
• Repairs and inspects electronics
• Estimate damage and calculate the cost of materials
• Test system functionality and analyze data
• Repair malfunctions in circuitry and other system structures
• Determines material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs and makes repairs.
• Adapts parts as needed to make repairs and improve the performance of various electronics.
• Read and comprehend complex manuals and diagrams
Qualifications
• Previous experience as an electronic technician or similar role
• Hands-on experience with electronic testing and circuitry
• Strong hand-eye coordination and proficiency in using tools like soldering equipment
• Familiarity working with various tools and equipment
• MS Office and diagnostic software (e.g. PC-based)
• An associate’s degree or apprenticeship as an electronic technician

Overview
The AV / IT Support Technician is responsible for providing high-quality technical support for all audio/visual solutions. The AV / IT Support Technician relies on experience and judgment as well as pre-established procedures and instructions to identify, research and resolve technical problems.
Responsibilities:
• Installation of all AV equipment and displays to include: audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, control systems, and all presentation systems
• Installation of structured cabling to include pulling, terminating, and testing cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI, and audio cables.
• Welding of various AV connectors.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting of any issue that may arise during an installation
• Assist users with connectivity to various AV conferencing solutions (Skype for Business, ZOOM, Blue Jeans, and/or other related platforms)
• In-depth knowledge and support experience with industry-standard VTC systems (particularly Polycom and Cisco), conference phone solutions, and audio/visual hardware platforms.
• Perform regular testing/maintenance/upgrades of all internal AV systems
• Proven ability to support IT components (Client & Mobile Hardware / Software), Windows, IOS, Android, and Office.
Qualifications
• Minimum three years of direct work experience with AV and video teleconferencing solutions and technologies
• In-depth knowledge of Skype for Business, ZOOM, Webex and Microsoft Teams products, operational activities and engineering
• Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot signal path for audio and video
• Must be able to read and interpret AV drawings
• Experience with networked AV technology
• Experience troubleshooting a wide range of IT problems
• Working knowledge of MS operating systems (Windows 10) and applications (Office 2016, O365)
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VoIP
• Ability to work independently and in a dynamic environment
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communications skills and ability to deal effectively with customers, peers, and management.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
