Our Story
Food, passion and wanderlust are the values Martin lives by.
His abuela had taught him at a young age that vitamin T like tapas was the Spanish ingredient of happiness.
Cook and food lover, amazingly skilled sailor like most of the boys of Cadiz, his hometown. Martin left home at age 19 aboard his boat to explore the flavors of latin America.
His culinary journey got him from Mexico to Buenos Aires, La Paz, Rio de Janeiro till the bottom of Chile of the high mountains of Peru. Martin sailed back to Gibraltar, Morocco, Alexandria and the winds led him back to Beirut where he felt the the sun and the people had a different flavor.
Martin believes that passion and salsa fresca are the missing ingredient of every dish and his journey got him to Madrid street in Beirut to share his love of food and adventure. Mar Mikhael in Beirut, Lebanon.
