Our dolls are the result of collaborative craftsmanship!
The wooden heads, featuring folkloric designs, are crafted by a carpenter from Tripoli. Delicate clothing is fashioned from offcuts of Sayé fabric by Najah, who resides in Beirut. Larger dolls are sewn by women from SOS village. Some are even stuffed with scented soap pieces.

Clemenceau Branch, Tager Building, Clemenceau Street📍

With expertise at her fingertips and passion in her heart, Tania, our store coordinator, is here to accompany you on your journey at L’Artisan Du Liban. Having joined us 14 years ago, she describes her time at ADL as finding her true calling. She takes pride in her work, delighting in overseeing the retail operations of our stores filled with treasures of Lebanese handicrafts.

Nawal has been with ADL since 2008, leading as the primary seamstress for initial samples under the designer’s guidance. She also trains home-based female artisans to replicate designs and collaborates with production to calculate costs. Prior to 2008, Nawal, like other female artisans, worked with ADL as a beneficiary since 1991.

Reviving artisanal techniques, like the vibrant silk ‘Sarma’ embroidery, in this contemporary Moiré cotton satin jacket, complemented by a daring fuchsia interior lining.

Our diverse collection of reimagined abayas caters to the modern woman, offering a panorama of colors and designs to accommodate every preference.
