Yesterday (October 10th) was Mental Health Day. The Counselling & Learning Support Unit at the College, over the last two days, highlighted the need for us to get our minds healthy.
As this year's theme states, "Treat Yourself Like An Emergency - Prioritize Your Mental Health", we urge persons to reach out and take charge of their responses to unhealthy thoughts.

Congratulations to our debate champions! 🎉 The Opposition comprising of Deryn Leslie and Amelia Charlemagne's eloquence and critical thinking set them apart. Their sharp minds and persuasive skills led the way to victory! 🏆
The Proposition, Q-Niqka Florenville and Phoebe Popo battled until the end, giving the Opposition tough competition. Pheobe earned the title of BEST SPEAKER!

Annually, Mental Health Day is recognized on 10th October. The Counselling and Learning Support Department will be recognizing this day on Wednesday 9th October under the theme "Treat Yourself Like An Emergency - Prioritize Your Mental Health".
WEAR GREEN on Wednesday‼️🟢 The Department will be near the reception area from 9:00 am for information dissemination, screening and engagement. A session centered around the theme will take place from 12:30 pm in Room 2 of the Innovation Hub.
Staff and students are encouraged to participate in the sessions.
