🛍️😋❤️I had to lay my hands on this gorgeous piece, the Pochette Clés from all the way from Paris, to be part of my car keys. It’s so classy, I am an addict of the monogram print, plus you can put your license, cards and a bit of cash in it! You can just step out without carrying a handbag for quick errands! Why Paris? Well I am a luxury bag addict and trust me when I tell you that in France, Louis Vuitton bags have a better quality than anywhere else!! Plus it’s more affordable since it’s a French brand!

What are mothers? Are they beings who have the easy life going just because they look after children and it’s no big deal?
Well…. We moms are mother, housekeeper, chef, nurse, coach, chauffeur, story teller, planner, organizer, monster killer, crafter, cheerleader, decorator, best friend, multitasking queen…… All moms out there who do a fantastic job are super moms!!!!

Truth be told, I used to take the whole concept of “motherhood” very lightly before I became a mother myself. I used to think that it wasn’t a big deal to look after children 😂 and yes now all that makes me laugh!!!
When a few moms I know used to tell me that they want to just go and stay in a hotel room by themselves at least one night, I used to think “why is she being so dramatic? She should take the kids as well and go!!!” “That’s not nice” “That’s not cool at all!!!”😂😂

Well guess what? I UNDERSTAND what they felt 🤣🤣🤣 Motherhood is a beautiful thing. It’s a gift. But those of us who think it’s easy should start thinking otherwise. It’s not a 8 to 5 job. For us moms who are stay at home moms, it’s a continuous job. And trust me when I tell you that we don’t have time for ourselves, not even to visit the washroom 😂😂 And just imagine those moms who have to go to work also? Well I RESPECT THEM!!!

The day you become a mother, you stop thinking about “me, me, me”. It becomes “them, them, them” cuz you gotta do your utmost best to look after those children you gave birth to. They are what matters but in all this, make sure not to lose yourself while doing all that. At first it’s the sleepless nights, the breastfeeding, the scolding them and then regretting it within a few minutes 🤣🤣 the playing with them to the no time to wax your arms to no time to apply makeup. Makeup is needed only when it’s REALLY needed 🤣🤣🤣

So yes! Being a mother is hard work. And I respect my mother more than ever 😂❤️❤️👩🏽But despite all of that, it’s totally worth it! ❤️

Yesterday I didn’t want to post anything about it to be honest. And yes on social media we should normally post only positive vibes, happy things and you know paint a picture which is far away from reality, am I right?
Let me get straight to the point! I am a mother of two. And now of a precious daughter. Do I feel comfortable in her growing up in a lame society like ours? Nope.
She’s a female and there’s a lot she’ll have to look forward to. Nope. Times haven’t changed. I think it’s time we cut that bu****it.
There’s so many reasons I can share with you. But I don’t have much time to type as im a very busy mother. Let me tell you what happened yesterday. I was driving with my son, Rayan, and we were trying to park inside a mall in Colombo. There was a bunch of young boys who were seated on the parking floor and as soon as they saw me driving past, they started making terrible noises. My son was seated in the front. And do you know what my 6 year old said? “Mama stop the car, I want to go & punch them for saying things to you” and he also said “Mama, why did those boys do that?”
Now how do I answer that? Cz listen I am a 30 plus old woman, a mother of two kids, driving peacefully while being dressed modestly! Yes, as you may know I don’t wear revealing clothes. So does clothing really have to do anything about anything? NOPE.
It doesn’t matter how we women dress, it doesn’t matter whether you are a mother or not, it doesn’t matter whether you mind your own business or not. And let me tell you this. I am a wild one. Had my son not been there, God knows what I would have done. I am not one who stands for bu****it and disrespect. I am savage, if you will. But yesterday I didn’t say nor do anything. So coming back to the question Rayan asked me, i plainly replied “ puthe its because I am a female. And you must promise me not to ever do this when you are bigger!!” I am raising a gentleman. That’s all I can do to society.
As females we go through so much, and please don’t think of me as a pessimist, i am far from it but let’s not forget what a woman has to go through everyday just because….well…she is a female.
