Slab එකක් ගත්තොත් slab එකෙත් කාලයක් යද්දි අපි දකින් නැතුවම වතුර උරාගෙන concrete එක ඇතුලෙන් damage කරනවා ඊට පස්සේ කාලයක් යද්දි කම්බි ඇතුලෙන් මලබදිනවා. ඒවගේ ශක්තිය අඩු වෙනවා. ඊටත් පස්සේ කාලයක් යනකොට slab එකේ යට පැත්තේන් water patches බලාගන්න පුලුවන්. එතකොට ඒක repair කරලා waterproofing කරන්න නම් බොල් උන concrete screed එක කඩන්න ඕන, ඊට පස්සේ කම්බි මලකඩ කාලනම් ඒවාට chemical apply කරන්න ඕනේ, ඊටත් පස්සෙ leveling concrete screed එකක් දාලා ඒ මතුපිට නැවත waterproofing කරන්න ඕන. ඉන් පසුව ඒ waterproofing එක ආවරනය කරන්න ඕනේ අයේත් 1" concrete screed එකකින්.
ඔන්න ඔය හේතුන් නිසයි අපි කියන්නේ slabs , bathrooms වගේ නිවසක විශේෂම ස්තානයන් හොඳම material එකකින් සහ සුදුසු කම් ලත් ආයතනයකින් කරගන්න කියලා. ගොඩක් clients ලා බලන්නේ අඩුවට waterproofing කරන අයව ඒත් ඒවගේ පැවැත්මත් ඒ වගේම අඩු වෙනවා කියන එක හිතන් නෑ , ඒ වගේම repair කරද් දි දැන් ගෙවන මුදලට වඩා 5 ගුනයක් වැඩියෙන් යනවා කියන එකත් හිතන් නෑ..

ගොඩක් පුද්ගලයන් සහ ආයතන warranty දෙනවා කියලා අඩුවට කරනවා. ඒත් සාමාන්‍යන් පොදුවේ හැමෝම වගේ warranty එක දෙන්නේ waterproofing එකට විතරයි, එතකොට client warranty claim ඉල්ලනකොට අර අඩු cost වලට කරන අය කරන්නේ slab eke top screed එක brake කරන්න ඕනේ ඒකට charge කරනවා ඊට පස්සේ ඒ leaks වෙද්දි apply කරපු waterproofing chemical එකම apply කරනවා ඊට පස්සේ ඒ apply කරපු එක අයේ 1" concrete screed එකකින් cover කරන්න ඕනේ කියන්වා.

ඉතින් client හිතනවා sqft 1000 ක් වගේනම් slab area එක ඒක කඩන්න, අස්කරලා, සුද්ද කරලා ගන්න 80,000ක් විතර ආසන්න වශයෙන් යනවා.
පසුව waterproofing කරනවා, අර ලීක් උන chemical එකෙන්ම ඊටත් පස්සෙ normal covering screed ekak දැන්මොත් Sqft 1000 ට - 150,000 ක් විතර වගේ යනවා. ඔක්කොම ඉවර වෙද්දි 250,000 ක් වගේ වෙනවා ආසන්න වශයෙන්.
