Fully Customized and bespoke bodywork built from the manufacturer’s original floor pan upwards

All Aluminum exterior paneling

Composite Aluminum interior paneling

Fully integrated 1” insulation on walls

1.5” thick heat insulation on the Roof

Full 316L Grade Stainless Steel flooring with an openable inspection panel to access the engine compartment

3 x Custom folding passenger Seats with fixed Backrest
Foldaway Stainless Surgical Table with drop-down legs

Built-in Oxygen delivery system

All required medical consumables in separate compartments for easy and quick access during an emergency

Compartmentalized sections and custom bracket work for all Animal recovery equipment and on-site EMS

Custom interior lights

230V AC 1000W pure sine wave inverter with AC power outlets inside

Custom upgraded exterior body Lighting, Horn & Wiper motor far superior to the Original manufacturer’s factory equipment

Custom exterior Ambulance lighting on sides & rear with flashing two-tone LED bar to use during emergency response events

Driver Cabin and Ambulance cabin painted and detailed with WeCare custom branding to match

Full electrical wiring was redone on the three-wheeler

The rear independent Suspension was modified & stiffened to carry the taller
Body and reduce Body Roll

Modified -Offset 12” Steel wheels on tubeless radial tyres for better driving & handling characteristics

New seat with 2-point seat belt for the driver with sliding adjustment

Padded headliner with custom stitched side rainwater curtains

Crew access doors from the front & rear

Large stainless rear step for quick & easy ingress during an emergency

Custom-built sliding glasses with automotive-grade safety glass

Natural Air ventilation through the cabin via rear door vent holes (keeping the cabin air as clean as possible)

All surfaces inside the Ambulance are washable/cleanable with medical-grade disinfectant

Custom Roof rack to transport the larger recovery dog nets etc

Custom-made storage compartments on the underside of the body for tools, water, fuel etc etc

This vehicle was specially commissioned by Janey Lowes & the team WECare Worldwide gaining exclusive sponsorship by the “Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust” for emergency treatment & EMS recovery procedures for the street dogs of Sri Lanka !!!

Upgrading the Ambulance Interior for “SITREK” (formally Certis group) on a Toyota Hiace KDH222

⚙️Specs of the build,

New Antibacterial, Antistatic single sheet medical grade flooring for the rear section

Custom made Cross partition with Automotive grade Sliding safety Glass

Custom built Medicine Cabinet with integrated Stainless Sink and built in 15ltr Water Tank

Custom built Medical oxygen bottle holder with securing straps and oxygen regulator

Custom-built medical equipment cabinet with overhead baggage compartment with lockable storage on the side

Custom bracket work for the Spinal Board, Scoop stretcher and head immobilizer

Portable Oxygen trolley to be transported along with the patient

Installing the Autofold stretcher with securing locks on a custom designed Stainless steel elevated base frame to match the stretcher height with a folding SS flap for safe loading & unloading procedures

1500W PSW inverter with 230V AC power outlets at the required locations to power up all equipment on board

Upgraded cabin lighting for the stretcher area and an LED strip light integrated into the rear door to illuminate the loading area at night

Custom-designed Fixed Seats with adjustable backrests & 2 point seat belts fully upholstered in high-quality Japanese washable Vinyl

Custom-built folding Nurse's seat at the patient’s head area complete with backrest and 2-point seat belt

Individual locking systems for all the supplied medical equipment & accessories on board within the allocated spaces to make them compatible both in-house and on board the Ambulance

Other miscellaneous work was completed to give the interior a new & improved outlook

Super Silent 6KVA inverter Generator on board to use as an auxiliary power backup

The vehicle underwent extensive floor repairs, corrosion repairs & body repairs in key areas that had deteriorated over time

Brand New batteries & wiring of the neglected dash instrumentation and switches, upgraded headlights with dual HID kits
Reverse camera and interior cabin lighting

Full body painting & Digital sticker work as per the Client's requirements was completed to further enhance outward appearance, Distinguishing the purpose and nature of the vehicle

----A brief history of “The Beginning”----

The vehicle was situated in Killinochchi and sourced through a known contact of the client, a team from Kithwoods personally visited the vehicle and inspected same, bus was negotiated, purchased and driven back to Colombo on the same day.

The Repairs & Conversion took around 8 months to complete in house with all the major criteria planned prior to make room within the interior space and to outfit the vehicle as per the Client’s specific requirements

All suspension, differentials, steering linkages, fuel tanks and sub-assemblies painted and detailed to a high gloss finish for easy wash off maintenance

The entire cabin floor overlaid with Dynamat from USA

Complete Engine Overhaul with all brand new components, upgraded pistons, and upgraded internals to increase the cylindrical volume

Rebuilt fuel injection pump with brand-new Injectors

Upgraded brand new 4 Core Radiator, Brand new water pump, Cooling Fan and drive belts

Engine, Tr**ny colour coded to match the bodywork also on high gloss 2k finish

Brand new exhaust with 2” downpipe and custom-made muffler to reduce noise

2” Body lift with Old Man Emu greaseable suspension

Front & Rear Axle rebuilt

Brand new brakes all around with brand new BMC, All-wheel cylinders, shoes & liners etc

Brand new Exedy clutch & clutch cover with New Bearings and end Seals

Repaired gear Shift linkages leakage rectification on the Transmission and Transfer case prior to assembly with engine

New KYB shocks & Steering Damper with revised mounting points to compensate for the lift

Custom Front Winch bumper with a high mounted 12,000LBS Croman Electric winch, Hi-lift jacking points, and 2 LED spotties
