The signing of the Mutual Recognition of Licensed/Registered Engineers between the Institution of Engineers Australia (Engineers Australia) & the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) took place on 26th August 2023 with the intention to permit the mutual recognition of registered/licensed engineers from a Hope Economy in a Host Economy.
Representing the Institution of Engineers Australia, the MOU was signed by the General Manager WA, Ms. Susan Kreemer Pickford while the President of IESL 2022/23, Eng. (Dr.) Kamal Laksiri signed on behalf of the IESL. The chairman of the IESL Western Australia Chapter, Dr. Senaka Welideniya is also present in the picture.
