MODART International collaborates with Jataa.lk in designing a collection of turbans and head scarves for Apeksha cancer hospital patients. This project allowed student designers to explore their creativity to a need with the initiative of former Mrs. World and founder of Jataa - Caroline Jurie and Doctor Mihiri Wickramaratne.

Our students crafted beautiful Jataas and also demonstrated how to wear them, bringing comfort and confidence to patients who have experienced hair loss due to medical treatments. 💖

PopCycling, a charity auction at the Barracks!

MODART International, le Secours Populaire de Paris et Commitment est heureux de vous annoncer son prochain événement le 19 avril : PopCycling, les ventes aux enchères solidaires à la Caserne.

Lors de cet événement engagé, les étudiants du Mastère 1 Direction Artistique et Management de la Mode présenteront le fruit de leur travail lors d’un défilé : des pièces de mode réalisées lors de deux séminaires spécialement dédiés à l’upcycling, qui incarnent parfaitement l’alliance entre innovation et durabilité. Ces pièces upcyclées, issues de stocks dormants du Secours Populaire, témoignent de l’ingéniosité et du savoir-faire des étudiants, qui ont su donner une nouvelle vie à des produits destinés à l’oubli.

Ce sont les bénévoles du Secours Populaire, mannequins d’un jour, qui porteront les pièces lors du défilé, afin de refléter la diversité et l’unité au cœur de cet événement.

La vente aux enchères qui suivra le défilé permettra aux invités de repartir avec ces pièces uniques, tout en contribuant à soutenir les actions du Secours Populaire. En effet, les fonds récoltés seront entièrement reversés à l’association pour contribuer à son engagement à aider les plus démunis et à lutter contre l’exclusion sociale.
L’événement aura le privilège d’accueillir Caroline de Maigret, icône de la mode française et ardente défenseure de la durabilité, en tant que marraine. Sa présence souligne l’engagement profond de Pop’Cycling en faveur d’une mode éthique et responsable.
Rendez-vous le 19 avril pour le grand défilé et la vente aux enchères, qui se tiendront à La Caserne! Ensemble, démontrons que l’art et la solidarité sont des alliés puissants pour créer un impact positif dans notre société 💪✨
