Today, we celebrate the superheroes without capes - mothers! They are the heart and soul of every family, the ones who nurture, support, and love unconditionally.
To all the incredible moms out there, thank you for being our guiding light, our source of strength, and our constant source of love. Your sacrifices, your kindness, and your unwavering support shape our lives in ways we can never fully express.
At Children.lk, we recognize and appreciate the invaluable role mothers play in shaping the lives of their children. Your love and dedication create a foundation for us to thrive, learn, and grow into the best versions of ourselves.
Today, and every day, we celebrate you, dear mothers. You are cherished, loved, and admired more than words can convey. Happy Mother's Day!
🚫 Today is , and it's crucial to shed light on a concerning statistic: according to the National Child Protection Authority (NCPA), over 80% of schoolchildren in Sri Lanka have endured at least one instance of corporal punishment. This is not discipline; it's violence.
Corporal punishment strips children of their dignity, inflicts lasting damage on their mental health, and perpetuates a harmful cycle. We commend the Government of Sri Lanka for reiterating their commitment to safeguarding children from violence and for taking crucial steps toward prohibiting corporal punishment in all its forms.
Every child has the fundamental right to grow up in a nurturing environment free from fear and violence. Let's raise awareness and advocate for their well-being. Together, we can create a world where every child can thrive without the threat of harm. 🌟

Importance of Art and Play
According to the American Psychological Association, even pre-school age children are affected by things that happen around them. They may seem clingy or irritable. Parents can help them express their feelings through art and play, which will help them develop resilience. Giving extra hugs also helps.
