GoLocal is excited to announce that its training Center, the DKS Incubation Centre will be publishing and marketing D Kafina Sinatue latest book: “Scaling and Sustaining Your Startup Business”. The book will officially be launched on 23 February 2024.
Tickets are now on sales for $20.00USD. This book project is designed to raise funds to setup the DKS Startup Seed Fund to provide assess to finance for entrepreneurs and youth-led business owners especially female entrepreneurs.

We are indeed excited to announce to the public that GoLocal has won a $500.00 USD Giving Joy Grants Micro-Grant to conduct an “Enterprise Development Training” for women and girls in Liberia.

The training will be conducted by the DKS Incubation Centre. The project seeks to undertake the following activities: Enterprise development training – to build the capacity of 50 entrepreneurs and businesspeople (women and girls) with potentially viable business ideas; and minimum viable products to start new businesses and upscale their business management practice. The project will support the creation of new job opportunities, raise income, and reduce poverty and unemployment among women. The project will also nurture, mentor and provide exposure to participants through field excursion, and peer-learning and will accelerate business growth.

The second component of the project will focus on Setting up the DKS Startup Lab – to provide a dedicated co-working space with internet at no cost. There, female ideation, startups and early-stage business owners will come to develop clear business models that work, validate their business ideas/concepts, pilot-test their products or services to determine their fit for the market, and where entrepreneur can bring their idea to life and launch new ventures with confidence.

Although this is a micro grant, we are convinced that it is going to create a macro impact on the Liberian society.
