What a wonderful weekend
Rise and shine your day has come
Money Day Greetings my leader. I trust you are bulldozing your way to the very pinnacle. You were born to get to the top.
I vividly remember growing up in the High density of Mbizo in the heart of the mining town called QueQue which has been since christened City of KweKwe in recent times. One of the most interesting memories l have is meeting a bully called Thomas. We used to call him Tomingo. The guy was such a thorn in the flesh. He was so feared in my part of the neighborhood. He was a tall towering guy and about my age only that l was short and stocky.
For the better part of my life l avoided the guy and hardly crossed his part . I was more reserved and more of a closed book during my early teens. He was the king of the ghetto who could get what he wanted when he wanted. I had heard of his reputation that he could destroy someone in a fight and like most of the guys believed it. However one day the bully confronted me and for no reason he insulted me. I timidly kept quiet hoping he would go away because l have ignored him. However he sensed my fear and went a gear up and slapped me. I staggered as if failing and in the process picked some dust . He tried to continue with the onslaught and l released some dust into his face. As he was trying to clean his eyes l hit him with all my strength and he fell to the ground. I sat on his chest pumping fists into his face. That was how l ended the reign of terror in my neighborhood. I became the new king and never fought another day. My reputation as the destroyer of Tomingo went ahead of me.
A bully by definition is a person who habitually seeks to harm or intimidate others whom he perceives to be weak and vulnerable. They target you for seasonal or regular abuse.
The strategy of the bully is almost predictable. A typical bully will start by shooting you down and diminishing your stature. When they belittle you you begin to feel smaller in their presence. This makes you an easy pick and a soft target because you will feel like an inadequate person hence a suitable victim. As a victim you become submissive to their aggression. They become a domineering aggressor. They make you feel lesser as they flex their muscles 💪 and seem to be very powerful and invincible. But the real reason the bully does what he does is so that you don’t realize that deep inside he feels inadequate and insecure. They feel empty and vulnerable.
However it gets interesting, as the bullies flex their muscles those around them start admiring them and patronizing them so that they become associates and avoid being bullied.
If you’re an observant person you will realize that there are no happy bullies. Most bullies are putting facades to hide their own fear and pain. They may show a lot of toughness but deep inside they are young babies crying for help. The only sad thing is that they go about it the wrong way.
The issue of bullies sadly does not end at school, we even have workplace bullies who feed on threats and unrelenting conveyor belts of intimidation.
Workplace bullying can happen to anyone . Anyone can bully or be bullied at the workplace. Workplace bullying is continued mistreatment taking place at work. It includes verbal criticism, malicious personal attacks, regular humiliation, belittling and possible isolation of a person.
Workplace bullying hurts employees wellness and damages productivity. It devalues a person’s sense of self worth and affects your mental help. According to research at least 30% of the workforce has been bullied. Refuse to be a victim and avoid being an aggressor. Every time a bully stands in your face be steadfast and assertive. Bullies cannot stand assertive people. It does not matter how big they are. You see my leader, size does not matter . In the words of the Undisputed World Boxing Heavyweight Champion Oleksander Usyk , ‘Size does not matter, otherwise the elephant would be the king of the jungle’
Let’s deal decisively with bullying whenever we encounter it lest our loved ones be defaced by that monster.
Jesus Christ remains the ultimate leader. Follow Him and many will follow you. Never neglect the poor and vulnerable under pressure from bullies. Rise and shine , your day is here.
Next Level is a reality.

Money 💵 Day Greetings to you my leader.lt is a brand new day as we approach a new month.
Well, it feels great to be alive on Monday and counting. Today is a special day because you are still standing. Thank God, you made it this far. Many wanted to see this day but were not granted access to it. I salute you, my victorious leader. May the blessings for this week locate you and transform your destiny and trajectory.
I am so excited with what l witnessed at the CDTI graduation ceremony on Saturday as l experienced excellence in action. CDTI has indeed come of age. It has been a long walk to glory and victory. Congratulations to 18 years of empowering Basotho with quality Education .Six thousand graduates have been beneficiaries of the visionary leadership of Makatleho Mohale, a firebrand Mosotho woman , who turned her dream into tangible reality. Nobody gave her a chance in 2005. Starting with one chair, one computer and one room, the College now has buildings in 5 towns/locations. That is tenacity. It’s even extraordinary because it was done by a lady in a highly patriarchal society. Life is about movers and shakers. Congratulations to the CDTI class of 2024 .
Today l am here to provoke the leader in you. The fact is that we all started in our fathers’ loins as hidden seeds, we became, zygotes, embryos, and fetuses’ until we showed up on this planet Earth. The point is that we are products of change and therefore we cannot ignore such an important aspect of our lives.
Let’s simplify life and define change as doing something differently from before. Change may come imposed or by intention. Whichever way it shows up , change is a reality that we must incorporate into our daily dynamics. Forced change is not usually the best, I am a firm believer in intentional and well-organized change. It has a great level of success. It is meant to help adapt changes to an existing organization.Change is the lifeblood of things nowadays. It is the new normal.
Can you imagine being married to a church girl for 8 years who is as sober as a judge, then suddenly you get home and you find her smoking like a goods or cargo train? It will shock you to your foundation because it is a culture shock and a change. This is why Change can be a scary thing. I equate it to a surgical operation, most of us resist it until we have nowhere else to run.
The fact that change will alter or affect your status quo means that it is a political matter or activity and has to be operated on the basis of a buy-in. Coercion can give you results in managing change but their impact will be very limited. This is why it is important for leaders to learn to educate their teams about the need for change. A participative approach will ensure true and lasting success. People want to feel the fairness and the inclusivity of change as they become a part of the next big thing in the organization.
Change should never be driven by whims but by solid facts which are based on pragmatic business research fueled by top-notch thinking. Change politics will also be key in pushing the next levels and exceeding established standards. Do not allow change to intimidate you but rather be intimate with it. Allow yourself to align with the future. The future is called change.
May the leader in you rise to conquer. History awaits men and women like you, those who willingly become agents of change. Rise for transformation, my leader. The world awaits your happening. Jesus Christ remains the ultimate leader, in three years he trained twelve men who became global conquerors. They are the reason we have Christianity in this dispensation. Get up, stand up, and set yourself on fire, the world awaits your manifestation. Change is the only way. The next level is reality.

Money 💰 Day Greetings my leader.
I trust you are thriving and blessed, hopefully your weekend was a dream one. Time is something we have in limited supply hence the need to maximize our moments at every interaction.
I am a Public Teacher at heart and my heart is to empower and grow leaders. Nothing makes my heart jump with joy than seeing leaders catch it. Last week I received a very moving call from one of my mentees appreciating how l have helped shape him as a leader. He is soaring high as an eagle. I am happy for him and am truly grateful for his kind feedback.
Leadership is an amazing animal and in my world you only become a leader when you raise other leaders.
This is why my heart bleeds when l mentor or coach leaders and they refuse to change. It feels like a monkey on my shoulder. My prayer is for history to be kind to me so that posterity won’t judge me harshly.
As a former lecturer l know that l will be judged as a leader by who l raise as a successor and a leader. In the lecture room l used to be judged by the pass rate of my students. I still believe it holds true for leadership legacy.
However l also believe that there are certain times when the attitude of the protege , subordinate, mentee ,and student. A growing mindset is imperative for true success.A fixed mindset is a recipe for disaster.
This is why it is important to make tough calls on the criterion used to select who you want to grow as a leader. Certain people do not want to grow although they want to be around you. The painful truth is that you should give them enough chances to shape up and become fruitful. However their failure to adapt is the new level of illiteracy. If a leader is not willing to learn and grasp new concepts they have a fixed mindset. That is what my lovely wife defines as illiteracy.
Leadership growth is certainly aided by your kind of mentor or coach. But the truth is that it is your call or your decision to grow. Even God respects your choice not to grow. However growing is what gives meaning and significance to life.
Allow me to share some nuggets with you.
1. The day you stop learning is the day you stop growing.
2. Getting information is knowledge but knowing where to use it is wisdom.
3. The primary role of leadership is problem solving failure to do so compromise service delivery.
4. Relationships are more important than family ties. The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.
5. Honour is the hallmark of leadership growth. We become those who we admire.
6. The wisest leader is the one who stays hungry and desires to be more.
7. Procrastination is the best way to hide your cowardice.
8. Keep your head focused by being where you are and maximizing the moment.
9. Between kindness and intelligence on any day choose kindness.
10. Judge others with your heart but evaluate yourself with your head.
11. Do not be afraid to begin again, in life you can always restart the formula
12. Champions are not defined by the size of their bank balances but by their hearts.
13. Change is not impossible, it is always a second away from you
14. Stop envying others, our paths are not the same. Colonel Saunders opened KFC at 65, but Mark Zuckerberg was 27 when he opened Facebook. Warren Buffet was a graduate Investor and Bill Gates was a college drop out, but both became billionaires. God is able to prosper you anyhow. He does not need text books to bless you only his word.
15. Whatever you do, don’t stop believing. Faith in God is a force that will propel you to the top.
May the leader in you rise to conquer. Keep on believing and don’t stop learning and working.
Christ remains the ultimate leader. You are rising to conquer. May the leader in you show up this week.
