In line with the "New Generation Lithuania" ( ) plan, Rubedo Sistemos - Rubedos has started the implementation of the 5G-FARRO project, funded by the EU's Economic Recovery and Resilience Facility and RePowerEU. ⚡

5G-FARRO stands for “5G-enabled Fleet Availability, Risk and Resource Optimization” solution. The aim of the project is to develop a product that is an integral part of any 5G transport system. Without this functionality, an efficient 5G transport system cannot be developed, nor can it operate safely and reliably. 5G-FARRO is designed to provide integrated automatic risk management and mitigation for 5G vehicles and vehicle fleets, including real-time automated control actions. It is also designed to continuously optimize the transportation system in an integrated manner, improving both the technical and economic parts of the 5G transportation system. The developed 5G-FARRO product will be marketed as a fully integrated product.

This project contributes to the implementation of the progress measure of Lithuania's Transport and Communications Development Programme No. 10-001-05-04-01 "Increasing the value created by the transport and communications system and the efficiency of the use of the infrastructure".

🇱🇹📢 Rubedos komanda kartu su Vilnius economics, Sensmetry ir Visionary Analytics įgyvendina Plano „Naujos kartos Lietuva“ lėšomis finansuojamą projektą „5G transporto priemonių ir jų spiečių rizikų bei resursų optimizavimo ir valdymo produkto kūrimas (5G-FARRO)“. Projekto tikslas yra sukurti 5G transporto priemonių ir jų spiečių rizikų bei resursų optimizavimo ir valdymo produktą. Šiuo projektu yra prisidedama prie Lietuvos Respublikos susisiekimo ministerijos susisiekimo plėtros programos pažangos priemonės Nr. 10-001-05-04-01 „Didinti susisiekimo sistemos kuriamą vertę ir infrastruktūros panaudojimo efektyvumą“ įgyvendinimo. Produktas bus naudojamas 5G transporto priemonių gyvavimo ciklo metu (nuo jų kūrimo iki eksploatavimo), siekiant didinti jų pridėtinę vertę ir konkurencingumą. Šio produkto panaudojimas padidins 5G transporto priemonių saugumą bei patikimumą, stebint transporto priemones nuotoliniu 5G ryšiu, kuriam yra reikalinga maža duomenų delsa, greitas didelio duomenų kiekio perdavimas, aukštas patikimumas ir tikslus lokacijos nustatymas.

At we are adamant about increasing service robot density in Lithuania and beyond. Depicted are two very capable self-driving forklifts of our partner Stäubli doing a pitstop at our R&D workshop in Kaunas, Lithuania, where they will receive important application updates prior to reaching their end user in the Netherlands.

Robot density is a metric used by the International Federation of Robotics that measures the number of robots per 10,000 workers in an industry. South Korea, Singapore, and Germany are the TOP-3 countries with the highest industrial robot density, but what about service robots? Rubedos to the rescue! 🤖
