🌟 NRD Companies is proud to be part of EuroDIG - European Dialogue on Internet Governance conference in Vilnius, Lithuania!

EuroDIG is a unique annual event that brings together Internet stakeholders from throughout Europe (and beyond), and from across the spectrum of government, industry, civil society, academia and the technical community.

Our Consulting Business Lead, Ieva Žilionienė, moderated one of the EuroDIG’s session "GovTech Dynamics: Navigating Innovation and Challenges in Public Services," where she guided discussions on the latest trends and challenges in government technology.

Additionally, Ieva spoke at the panel discussion "Empowering Communities: Partnerships for Access to Services." This session focused on technical and strategic solutions, exploring how various stakeholders can collaboratively tackle digital inequality, benefiting citizens in Europe and beyond.

EuroDIG conference covered a broad array of topics focusing on digital accessibility, security, internet governance, and the impact of emerging technologies. Key sessions included discussions on the European Accessibility Act, strengthening DNS security, and the implications of the NIS2 Directive. A significant portion of the program was dedicated to European policies and strategies, including AI, enhancing cyber resilience, child safety online, and rural connectivity. GovTech discussions highlighted digitalizing public services and data governance with a "citizen first" approach, and empowering communities through partnerships for access to services.

EuroDIG is more than just a conference, it's a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas and dialogue on the critical issues facing the Internet today. It was a great opportunity to attend such an informative and beneficial event and share our experience and best practices.

The IACC International Anti-Corruption Conference is the world’s premier global forum for bringing together heads of state, civil society, the private sector, and more to tackle the increasingly sophisticated challenges posed by corruption.

This year's IACC global forum’s theme, - "Confronting Global Threats: Standing Up for Integrity," aligns perfectly with our commitment to integrity and transparency. We are strongly supporting our community in fighting corruption and money-laundering thus are happy to be part of this summit.

🌍 Advancing Kenya's Postal Services 📬

As our consultancy project with the Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK) nears its conclusion, we look back on the transformative journey we've embarked upon together. Supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania and the Fund for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid, this initiative has played a crucial role in enhancing digital access across Kenya.

Over the past months, we've diligently worked in collaboration with the PCK on finding the feasible ways to empower utilization of over 500 post offices nationwide to become pivotal centers for accessible government services. This effort is contributing to bridging digital divides, particularly in rural areas where internet access remains limited.

As we conclude this phase, we are extremely proud of our client, PCK, and thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with them. Stay tuned for updates on their ongoing efforts to drive digital inclusion and innovation in Kenya's postal sector! 🌐

🌍 We're excited to share an update from our recent participation in the “BID for the Americas” panel discussion in Madrid, hosted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

Our colleague Ieva Žilionienė had the honor of presenting on the “Digitalization and Inclusion” topic, sharing insights from NRD Companies’ 19 projects across the Caribbean and Latin America, including four financed by IDB in Belize, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, and Barbados.

🌍 Last week our company participated the “BID for the Americas” panel discussion in Madrid, hosted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). This innovative program aims to foster business opportunities and strengthen economic ties between Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and key global partners.

Our colleague Ieva Žilionienė presented our practical experience and business perspective on the “Digitalization and Inclusion” topic. It was a fantastic opportunity to share our experience, from 19 projects implemented by NRD Companies in the Caribbean, four of which were financed by IDB (in Belize, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, and Barbados) and discuss how European companies can enhance their presence in LAC, supporting the region in overcoming digital adoption barriers and accelerating progress towards a digitally inclusive society.
