In Estonia 🇪🇪 , we celebrate Midsummer's Eve with " Jaanipäev" It's a time when we gather around bonfires, wear beautiful flower crowns, and dance the night away. Jumping over the flames is believed to bring good luck and protect against evil spirits. Join us as we embrace the magical Estonian traditions!

In Latvia 🇱🇻, the "Jāņi" festival marks the peak of Midsummer festivities. We come together in the countryside, creating wreaths from wildflowers and herbs. These wreaths symbolize unity and love, worn by people of all ages. As the sun sets, we light bonfires and engage in lively folk dances, celebrating the abundant nature and the joy of being together. Experience the Latvian spirit and its warm embrace!

Step into Lithuania 🇱🇹, where the Midsummer festival is called "Joninės." In the midst of lush meadows and golden fields, Lithuanians honor the power of fire and water. Jumping over bonfires is also a beloved tradition here. Additionally, we send candle-lit flower wreaths down rivers, symbolizing hope and renewal. Let the Lithuanian warmth captivate your heart!

Another beautiful spring day in Vilnius! 🌷 Oh, March! It's like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get! 🍫 Will it be sunny and mild or snowy and frigid? Who knows! 🤷‍♀️

If you're planning a trip to Vilnius in March, make sure you pack a little bit of everything. Bring your swimsuit for those balmy and warm days and your heavy coat for those literally freezing nights. And don't forget your rain boots, just in case it decides to rain, snow, and hail all at once (which, let's be honest, is not entirely out of the realm of possibility). 🌦️❄️

Today we start celebrating 700 years of rich, complex and exciting history of Vilnius! We are celebrating each and every person that helped to shape Vilnius into this vibrant, colourful, and simply AMAZING place on earth! Happy birthday to all of us! And don't forget - the party just started!

Vilnius - CNN Destination of The Year. We have been saying this for years, there is a r-e-a-s-o-n we are so passionate about our city, now the world is catching up!

Just imagine, you're finally on your well deserved vacation: packing your light suitcase and heading to the airport, ending up in the charming city of Vilnius. The moist, refreshing air may be a bit chilly, but walking around the city warms you up. From browsing the shops and cafes to visiting museums and parks, there is plenty to do and see. It's not too busy, not like London! And with plenty of space to breathe and enjoy, you can really relax and unwind. The people here are laid back and chill, and even small talk about the weather is kept to a minimum. After a full day of exploring, return to your room for a peaceful night's sleep, possibly even dreaming of the city's mascot, the Iron Wolf. Don't worry it's completely normal to see him at night!
