In open plan living it is essential to consider . Assigning specific function to areas within the space improves flow, and even makes the room feel bigger!

In this project, furniture is grouped into 3 distinctive zones – the living room, dining room, and performance area. Breaking up the large space creates visual room dividers, making each area feel more intimate and cozy. A well designed layout plan can transform a space and significantly improve the spatial experience 🛋

A glimpse at a proposal for a landscaping project I designed for a couple in Virginia. I worked with them to create a new patio space to elevate the outdoor experience of their new home, and the process was completely virtual! We arranged frequent calls and presentations to discuss and refine the project to exactly what they wanted. Forming a clear vision, plainly communicating the design goals and expectations, is crucial to set a project up for success and promote a hassle free construction process. Can’t wait to share the final results!

for a project involving maximizing the use of the client’s existing furniture for their new flat - pairing it with new design elements to elevate the quality of the space and make the existing furniture (like their fabulous green velvet sofa) feel fully intentional and as though it were made for the space.
