Our very busy weekend is over! 😅💪 On Saturday morning we held an open workshop focused on Polish national dances, the rest of the day and full Sunday we worked hard on two new choreographies: regional dances from Lublin and Rzeszow. We are very grateful to our guests: choreographer L**h Leszczyński, vocal teacher Beata Leszczyńska, and dancers Milena Binięda and L**h Leszczyński Jr. for their excellent job! Still a lot of work ahead of us but we will do our best to present the new dances as soon as possible! 😊

It was our last performance of the season! We enjoyed yesterday a lovely atmosphere of the festival organized in Saarburg! Just last practice today and it’s time for a summer break before a very busy autumn! Check out our calendar on www.polanie.lu 😊💪☀️

At the Polish School in Luxembourg today! 🎉 We were happy to dance for a big Polish community of children, parents and teachers! Happy holiday to all! ☀️

You cannot give a better name to this event than “Polish Heritage Day”. We took part in a meeting organized at the Polish Embassy in Luxembourg gathering two associations: our pretty young dance ensemble and the oldest Polish organization in Luxembourg - Union des Polonais Frédéric Chopin - dating back to 1929! The Union had a special gift for us: a variety of traditional folk costumes. We are very grateful to members of the Union, especially to Mrs Irena Liszka who led this association for many many years, as well as to Mr Ambassador Piotr Wojtczak and Ms Iwona Wojtczak for making this event possible 🇵🇱😊🙏

In spite of quite bad weather we’ve made it! Another wonderful Europe Day! 😊💪🇪🇺 We were the first ones on the stage with our Polish traditional dances. After the performance we supported the stand organised by the Polish Embassy in Luxembourg and posed for photos with dozens of visitors (even with Prime Minister himself 🇱🇺). You can also find us in a few newspapers! 😉

Great performance at Multikulti Festival in Reckange-sur-Mess today! 💪 On Tuesday we are dancing at Europe Day Festival in Kirchberg! See you there just after 12:00 - we will be the first ones on the stage! 😊🇪🇺

Today we made a workshop for children in the Polish Kindergarten! We sang Polish songs, talked about traditional costumes from different regions and of course danced Polish folk dances! Well done, children! Polanie are waiting for a new generation of dancers! 😄

Polanie to grupa folklorystyczna, która powstała w 2019 roku. Prezentuje polskie tańce narodowe i regionalne, ale jej tancerze to nie tylko Polacy! Aby dołączyć do zespołu, wcale nie trzeba mieć doświadczenia w tańcu - liczy się zapał! 🥰
Podczas niedzielnego występu nie zabraknie poloneza czy krakowiaka. Zespół przedstawi również swoje nowe choreografie np. mazura i oberka. ❤️

Dancers from the best Polish folk ensemble „Mazowsze” will teach us steps and choreographies of national dances. No experience needed. We will use Polish, English and French. You can come alone or with a partner.🎼🎻💃

Dzień Europy - fotorelacja Święto Europy zgromadziło jak zwykle tłumy. Polskie stoisko było oblegane dzięki ciekawej ofercie folderów, nagród do wygrania w quizie o Polsce oraz oczywiście Żubrówce i słodyczom. Było oficjalnie, było rozrywkowo, a jak dokładnie, to można zobaczyć na zdjęciach.
