Before this year ends, we also want to wish a “happy 50th birthday” to one of our key equipment, the Bell Less Top. The journey started in Duisburg-Hamborn in 1972 - the same year that astronauts from Apollo 16 took this famous photo on the moon - and has since been pushing the boundaries of blast furnace charging and operation.

32 colleagues from Paul Wurth Luxembourg participated in the 10 km cross-border race DEULUX 2022 last Saturday and were rewarded with a podium place as the second largest team that competed in the run. Congrats! 🥈🏃‍♀️🏃🏆

Paul Wurth was honoured with the baptism of a new variety of rose created in its name. The ‘Red Fire’ was bred in 2020 to celebrate the 150-year anniversary of the founding of Paul Wurth, though the baptism was postponed to last Friday 26 August because of the COVID pandemic.

Sport is key to a healthy lifestyle - so it is with great pleasure that a Paul Wurth team took part in the ING Night Marathon in Luxembourg on 28 May. Congratulations to all the athletes!
