Last Friday, Voices International had the privilege of participating in The Manifestation by the artist Lemi Ponifasio. 🔥
This public closing event of the Red Bridge Project was an initiative aimed at building artistic bridges 🌉 in Luxembourg. The event featured a rich tapestry of speeches 🎤, music 🎶, poetry 📜, dance 💃, and singing 🎵. Voices International was delighted to contribute to the final performance, presenting songs that resonated with Lemi Ponifasio's themes. It was a very new experience for our choir, as we had never done anything like this before.🤩

We were honored to be part of this emblematic celebration of renewed relationships between communities 👫, their territory 🌍, and its institutions 🏛️.

Last Wednesday, Philharmonie Luxembourg hosted an unforgettable concert featuring the talents of pianist Daniel Verstappen and Marina Barskaya on viola, along with the chamber choir of Voices International. The evening was a mesmerizing blend of classical and contemporary music, with Verstappen’s virtuosic piano performance and Barskaya’s expressive accompaniment complementing each other beautifully. Voices International added depth and richness with their harmonious vocals, creating a powerful and emotive experience for the audience.

Our unique concert was made memorable by the special and diverse program, the visual effects, the song and dance accompanied by sign language. 💃🏼

The 39 nation-strong VoicesInternational Choir was supported by the Choir of the International School of Luxembourg and the singing audience. 🫶🏻

Directed by our beloved conductor James Libbey, this concert proved that music is for everyone and singing together can break down any wall!💫 🌈
