Today is marked by a unique sale, one that is not strictly related to watches. The entire inventory is being sold, strange as it may seem, that's indeed the case.
After many years in the world of watchmaking, it's time for me to move on to something else, driven by a convergence of multiple opportunities and a rare alignment of circumstances that doesn't often occur in one's lifetime.
Indeed, while many close clients/friends are aware, the continuity will be in a slightly different realm—motorcycles. Though I can already hear echoes that have no place here, this is entirely my own choice and it has been motivated solely by personal reasons and the pleasure of working in a different sector, one that resonates with me deeply and accentuates an interest that has been with me for far too long.
Even though WatcHour will not strictly close its network and opportunities, the physical location will close and will soon be available for other purposes. WatcHour will become my secondary activity, focused on selling more targeted and higher-end watch components, which, in my opinion, are incompatible with the philosophy of a boutique. The concept may be reborn in a different form, or I may put my knowledge to use in other ways.
As our discussion has been ongoing for some time, this is how you can find me among the staff members at Triumph in Dippach () to immerse myself in a domain that excites me just as much, if not more, than watchmaking.
This is not a farewell or goodbye that I'm presenting. The entity WH will remain as it is; I will let it rest for some time to ponder the exact direction this structure will take, as it still holds a special place in my heart, while I explore a compatible concept that won't interfere with my upcoming venture into the world of motorcycles.
Biker friends, you're invited for a coffee. Perhaps in the future, we'll organize a wristshot & bikes contest or a ride out for WatcHour enthusiasts and motorcycle lovers (or maybe it's already in the works...hehe). The future will tell.
Looking forward to crossing paths, but now on the road or close !

Every new year brings its own surprises and improvements, so why not follow the same approach professionally? From 2023 onwards, we are looking to optimise our workshop as part of an internal upgrade. If you are hard headed and a real temperament, if communication within a team is in your blood so that you don't leave files in the wild, if receiving a permanent quantity of stock is more a source of motivation than a brake on your own activity, then we need you. We are ideally looking for a freelance watchmaker/polisher for a constant supply of stock. More information in PM or in the shop.
