Pirms gada tiešām nodomāju, ka tā bus kārtējā diēta, jo tādas man bija izmēģinātas daudz, jo apziņa, ka vajag dzīvot veselīgāk bija jau nonpamatskolš laikiem.

Bet nu nekā nebija. Ir pagājus jau vairāk kā gads un varu teikt 30 dienu izaicinājums nebija kārtējā diēta, tas bija "tīzeris" jaunajam dzīvesveidam. ⚡️☀️🕺🏽

BOREDOM EATING ⬇️

BOREDOM eating is one of the most diffcult eating habits to break.

We can easily consume excess energy during the day by snacking on food purely because we can’t find anything better to do. And its extremely easy because of the new way of working - working from home.

Here are some tips that may help you:
1️⃣Plan your meals
Meal planning is an essential part of good food awareness. If you ensure that all your meals and snacks are accounted for and planned into your day this will help you stay in control of your food choices and appetite.

2️⃣Keep a food diary
Boredom eating stems from poor awareness of your eating habits. Keeping a food dairy for a week will make you much more aware of what, when and why you are eating. The first step to combating problem behaviour is an awareness of what the problem is in the first place.

3️⃣Take a water bottle with you
If you really need to have some hand-to-mouth action then carry a water bottle with you through the day and sip on it regularly. It can really help satisfy the need to snack on food. It will also ensure you stay well hydrated which can help keep you better in control of your appetite. Dehydration will make you more hungry and thirsty and more likely to eat or drink something high in energy even if you don’t need it.

4️⃣Be mindful
The major problem with boredom eating is a lack of eating awareness. We eat without thinking. When we eat without thinking we have no recollection of how much we ate, why we ate it or in some instances what we ate in the first place. So next time you eat try to be mindful.

Yep!

If you're someone who often feels out of control around food in the evenings or during the day, skipping breakfast is a common cause of this.

❗Even if you overate the night before, a well-balanced breakfast can help you break the cycle of "good all day, bad all night."❗

💡Here's what might be of assistance to you:

🧋Breakfast should be well-balanced, with lots of fiber and protein.
🥞Make sure the breakfast is substantial and includes foods that you enjoy.
🥗Continue to eat well-balanced meals at regular intervals throughout the day.

And thats exactly what I learned in my first 30 day challenge!

Have you ever said :

"My metabolism is so slow" or "I just cant lose weight just as everybody else"?

BALANCED NUTRITION

What is balanced nutrition and why do we need it?

A balanced diet/nutrition fulfills all of a person's nutritional needs. Humans need a certain amount of calories and nutrients to stay healthy. A balanced diet provides all the nutrients a person requires, without going over the recommended daily calorie intake.

❓What happens if you go over the recommended daily calorie intake or don't meet a certain amount of nutrients?

❕You gain weight ➡️ Your metabolism slows down ➡️ You gain weight.
But I wouldn't say that that's the only thing that's happening. If you are not nourishing your body with the nutrients that it needs you will probably feel less energetic, gloomy, even unmotivated to do simple daily tasks (from my own experience).

❓So why do we need balanced nutrition?

❕I assume you already know the answer but I will say it - to be healthy, to feel energetic, and simply to be happy!
